Valerie Ramsey Kemper

I've been to Dr. Kemper a few times. Twice for myself, another time for my teenage daughter, and I sent my husband to her as well. We appreciate the extensive tests they do, and the report that is created is super informative. However, it seems like Dr. Kemper is quick to dismiss self-reporting symptoms and often states the patient is "over-reporting" because her tests don't match up with what the patient is describing. She can be very invalidating and more rigid and scientific instead of compassionate. If this is what you're looking for, then she's the doc for you. But if you're struggling and need someone to try to help you understand yourself better, Dr. Kemper falls short.

Dr. Kemper is dismissive and condescending. Please avoid her

My husband and I went into talk about our daughters diagnosis with her. We did an hour and a half to two h our intake appointment with Dr. Fitzgerald and Dr. Krings did 5 hours of testing, just so that Dr. Kemper only gave us 5 minutes of her time at the end. She gave us short highlights of her findings a diagnosis and said if we have any questions to email her. It was a lengthy report and she couldn't go over it with us. Me and my husband don't understand all the testing jargon and she gave us a brief here it is and told us to email her. I would expect more of someone who owns a practice. Her colleagues are doing all the work and she gives a brief synopsis at the end. This makes no sense. While i might agree with the diagnosis, it is not well presented. I would not recommend other people take their children to this practice. You want more info. would need to find someone else.

Very arrogant and has no idea how to work with certain issues. This is why she lost her other practice.

Kemper is condensding and rude.
