Dr. Valeriy Sabodash, MD

There is nothing about Dr. Sabodash I did not like. He was professional, knowledgeable, kind. He totally understood neurology as a science and enjoyed learning. I was exasperated because their wasn’t an easy answer for me and he showed empathy . I was very impressed when he asked me what I wanted from him at our last visit. Not arrogant .

There are no words to express my love and respect for this kind man, his bedside manner is remarkable, his keen and quick mind is unlike any other Dr. I've met in 65 years. It broke my heart that he moved to Sarasota, and I'm thinking I might drive there instead of seeing someone locally just because he is who he is. Unbelievable!

This Dr dose not care unless its an easy fix. I an Emergency he runs , will not help you ,, please run from this Dr Sabodash

He is good at pretending he cares. He doesn't. I came in for seizures and he took another neurologist's diagnosis and he was supposed to be my second opinion. It was decided that these were from psychiatric problems, without clinical evidence even though I have several other severe health problems. The seizures are documented by a three day study at Tampa hospital. He wanted me to go off of all medications, which I didn't do. I ended up in ER in atrial fibrillation, nearly had a heart attack, had a previous head injury, and diabetes went out of control. Imagine if I had discontinued medications! I would be dead. My internal med. dr. wrote the med. I needed and told me to stay on it.
