Dr. Vera Fridman, MD

She was so rude, condescending and dominating. She didn’t listen to me and told me to come back when I start falling. She shamed me for not having sex with my husband because “we are young” and told me to do pelvic pt. I asked for help finding the systemic issue causing pain so I can do my weekly pt as pelvic and not pain management and she refused. I’ve done the pt for years and guess what I still have progressing and worsening symptoms. I am terrified to try to get help again after this experience and I’ve just been trying to learn to live with my pain.

Not interested in patient care, only interested in dominating the office visit. Dismissive, smug, condescending. The office visit started with her smirking at something I said, and went downhill from there. I should add that, as a retired physician, I am able to speak into medically inaccurate claims she made at my clinic visit. No confidence in her clinical skills, fund of knowledge, and certainly her bedside manner. I have refused to see her again. Do not recommend.

Dr. Fridman was very helpful and thorough. Yes, I can understand how she can come off as cold, but I took it as her analyzing my situation. She ordered genetic testing that will help not only me but family members that are dealing with this rare condition. I would like to thank her for being a doctor that figured out what was wrong with me. Other specialists couldn't do what she did Mayo Clinic even missed it.

The other reviewer is correct. I saw her at University of Colorado and had the same unfortunate experience last month. She does not listen to her patients and her bedside manner is just lacking. Very cold interpersonally and preoccupied with her own misperceptions of her patients. Don't waste your time.

Not a good Dr.

I was referred to Dr Fridman by the CMTA. She is pleasant enough but really had no interest in me as a patient only as a statistic for her grant program. She spent zero time listening to me and really just blew off anything that I said if it did not relate to what she was looking for to put in her study. It is hard to get a decent Dr when you have CMT and although MA Gen is generally world class this Dr falls far short of that.
