Dr. Veronica Pimienta, MD

I'm a fairly new patient (less than a year) and am looking to switch physicians because I cannot get in to see Dr. P when I actually need a doctor. Every time I call in for an appointment, I'm told it will be at least a month before I can get in. This is fine for a checkup, but when I have an issue, I cannot wait that long. Nor am I interested in going to urgent care when I have an actual physician. So, see ya- Dr. P. It was good while it lasted, but I need to be able to actually see a doctor once in a while.

Dr. P. Is a great doctor, she takes her time with you as a patient and explains things very well. She is very thorough and caring. The only problem is her front desk staff and others. They are not very responsive to your needs such as phone calls being put on hold and taking for ever. At times never dealing with your phone call. Very frustrating with front desk and other staff. If it weren’t for Dr. P. I would have left a long time ago.

I think she is excellent and so is the staff. However the wait time for an appointment is too long and the wait time in office is too long. You should not plan anything afterwards.

Both the Dr and her nurse are exceptional! These ladies truly care about their patients!

I understand that a new patient appointment may take some time. However, I can only say that the wait is worth it. I have never had a Doctor spend so much time with me. It was wonderful to actually feel like I could voice my concerns and be listened to. The office staff was very friendly and courteous. I just made my third appointment and the wait is negligible. I am extremely happy with the care I have received.

I first meet Dr Primenta at St Joe's. I changed my primary to her because of the care I recieved.
