If you want excellent quality care by caring staff Dr Pokala is a good choice provided you don't mind waiting your turn as he is very popular and has a lot of patients sometime who has life threatening situations that needs his attention more than you do at the same time. So patience here!

Intelligent and amazing. Theres a wait at the office, sometimes a long one but he isnt out for punch or playing golf he is saving a life. If you cant wait for the best cardiologist go back to fast food and fast doctors. He saved my life when I had no insurance, helped me get financial assistance and assured me that if I needed their services to just come on in or go to the ER. When I didnt qualify for insurance they still were there and finally after two years I have insurance and he is also my Primary Physician. I am blessed to have Dr Pokala taking care of my heart and health needs.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENT DR. POKALA.HE IS A VERY CARING, CONCERN DR. AND TAKES TIME WITH HIS PATIENTS. I FEEL LIKE I AM TALKING MORE TO A FRIEND THAN MY DOCTOR. YES, SOMETIMES ONE HAS TO WAIT LONGER THAN THEY WOULD LIKE BUT HAVING THE BEST IS WORTH THE WAIT TO ME AND SEVERAL OTHER FOLK THAT USE HIM. IF ONE IS HAVING TO WAIT LONGER IT IS BECAUSE ONE OF HIS PATIENTS AT THE HOSPITAL NEEDS HIM.

We waited 2 hours the first visit and 3 hours the second visit. He misdiagnosed my husband's heart problem. The office visits were cattlecalls. Waiting over 2 and 3 hours was miserable. The waiting room was crowded and no one came to tell us why the long wait. An office person came out with snacks during the longer wait. There were patients waiting who had been there longer than we had. We heard after the last visit that this is common practice for him. We didn't return.
