Dr. Vikram M Atit, MD

Dr Atit and staff were personable and competent. I highly recommend him.

First a little of my history, I had a large brain tumor in 1997 that requires close follow up care and was subsequently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2003. I have lived in four states since 1997 and had several neurologist, have been using Dr. Atit since 2013. All that to say, Dr. Atit is one of my favorite doctors I’ve had. He is kind, through and not “old school” medicine. He keeps up with modern medicine, some neurologist don’t. He has closely monitored my health and my medicinal therapy. He is worth waiting for, people often forget that a great doctor makes rounds in hospital(s) too. His office is busy but never beyond reason. I highly recommend him. Even my husband likes him, and he’s threatened to punch some of my doctors.

Dr Atit is very knowledgeable and kind. His receptionist kept me on hold over 10 minutes and answers the phone "Neurologist can you please hold?" click.

I set up an appointment with dr Atit and when I showed, the office was closed. There was no call prior, no attempt to reschedule, no nothing, and nothing since. I made contact with office finally, there was no apology, no attempt to expedite an appointment and no attempt to “make right”, only accusatory verbiage from very rude receptionist. Good customer service would have apologized and made every effort to get me in and change my mind about this doc. I don’t see him now as being professional or worth my time.

Dr. Atit truly paid attention to my symptoms to try to figure out what was causing my terrible headaches. It was an unusual type of headache, hard to diagnose, I think. He asked questions and did not jump to a conclusion. Because he was a good listener and diagnostician, he was able to make recommendations that solved my problem. I have been without symptoms for almost 10 months. Dr. Atit is kind and personable. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Atit for Migraines for a few years. I had suffered with migraines for many years. I was referred to Dr. Atit and he has my migraines under control. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Neurologist. The staff is very kind and always takes great care of me.

I had severe a headache that required me to go to a hospital. I was treated well overnight and evaluated as to the problem. I was diagnosed with neuralgia. After four months, there was no relief. I got a second opinion from Dr. Vikram Atit, a Doctor of Neurology. He then diagnosed me as having severe Migraine headaches. The proper medication was prescribed as well as suggesting supplements. I now have very infrequent Migraines. Dr, Atit has been wonderful to work with me for this and other issues.

Horrible first impression... being a new patient to him with MS ... we expected that he would spend more time getting to know me... I met him at his countryside office. He, came into the exam room, received a phone call, and came back for all of 30 seconds! And left.... I’m sure he charged my insurance company plus my myself ( $20.00 Co-pay) for a 99213 which is an average office visit. A minimum of 10 minutes to 15 minutes. I won’t be returning. His office staff certainly lacks professionalism in a variety of ways, they have a tendency to argue with the patients... the very people who pay their salaries.
