Dr. Violet Queenvin Habwe, MD

I have been going to Dr Habwe for 20 years. I was referred to Dr Habwe when I was in end stage renal failure and needed a kidney transplant. She was wonderful during a very hard time in my life. Dr Habwe didn't really know me at that time but she called in favors to get who she felt was the best surgeon and medical transplant team. Turns out Dr Light was the head of transplant surgery at Washington Hospital Center and very well respected. Many years later when I was having issues with fibroid tumors she called a specialist who was on vacation and wouldn't let him off of the phone until he agreed to take my case. Turns out that doctor was also one of the most respected in his field in the this area. I believe Dr Habwe goes above and beyond for all of her patients. She is extremely knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest therapies. I know from my other doctor's she very well respected among here peers. You want to go to the doctor other doctors go to.

Simply, the best.

Kidney Disease patient. Dr. Habwe and her office are fantastic. Very little wait time. Considerate scheduling. She will spend as much time with you as you need and prompt you to best health behavior. Tops!!!

Dr. Habwe is caring and knowledgeable. I've seen a number of urologists and nephrologists and Dr. Habwe is by far the best. She was able to decide when to act for my wellbeing and was always available when I needed her. I can't recommend her more highly.

She always answers my questions and never tries to rush me thru an appointment. She encouraged me to work while I was on dialysis and I was so glad she did. I had a transplant in 1999 and she continues to be an inspiring force in my life.

I have seen over 15 urologists/nephrologists in my life. Dr. Habwe was able to diagnose and treat my kidney problems successfully while maintaining the utmost concern for wellbeing. She is one of the best doctors I have ever had.
