Good experience.

Dr. Gray always provides useful advice and I always look forward to seeing her.

For the first time in over a decade with this provider, I felt she was dismissive and uninformed about a serious health concern that I had presented (both prior to the visit and during). Dr. Gray did not seem to recall significant medical history that greatly impacts my health and well-being until I reminded her about it. Additionally, she did not address other ongoing issues that a PCP should be further exploring during an annual physical. I also felt she was not up-to-date on the latest research/recommendations and therefore unable to have a reasonable conversation based on what was going on. Ultimately, her advice left me determined to seek out another provider, which was disappointing after so many years with her. I recognize that she may be burned out or not have adequate time to prepare for her visits beforehand, but it has become the norm during our last few interactions. Regardless of the reason, this should not be the case.

The interaction was about 5 minutes and felt very rushed. Usually there is a more In-depth discussion of my health, things to focus on and be aware of. Usually more discussion in general, more of a conversation. Maybe there just wasn't anything to talk about, however, this felt like checking things off a list. I waited 6 months for a 5 min interaction with my primary care doctor, doesn't feel right.
