Soooo I happy with this guy. He was rude, condescending, and made me feel stupid. I was recommended to him as the woman I wanted to see wasn’t available and regret it a lot. Don’t go to him. I went to Dr Murphy and was much happier

the worst. cold rushed and no confidence in anything he said. pushed me for surgery so hard but i just didn't trust him. i went across the street to dr legares at roper hospital, and he affirmed that i didn't need surgery and got me better and back to work with medicine. avoid this guy!!!!

So disappointing. He was rushed, cold, and did not explain my illness or his plan well. I speak Spanish, it was not a language barrier, he just sucked.

Dr George removed 18 inches of my colon and I did not have to have a bag, and did it robotically instead of with an open incision. And 2 years later, he removed a softball sized tumor from me that most others were afraid to touch and now my bodily functions are normal again. Great Dr.

Dr George operated on my husband in Jan. 2018 for Stage II colon cancer. Today we are cancer free! Could not ask for a better doctor. He has extreme knowledge, great bedside manners and always takes time to talk to us at our visits every 3 months! He always tells us to leave the worry to him and enjoy life!! We would recommend him to anyone needing a colon/rectal surgeon!!

Dr. George and his team helped a really bad diagnosis and necessary surgery turn the corner of despair to that of hope and healing. My wife and I are eternally grateful for the solid care and skill set of this man.

Dr. George operated on my husband and made it so he would not have to wear a colostomy bag like other GI's said. We were so impressed with his knowledge. Other GI's told my husband that they had no idea of how to treat my husband but at our first meeting with Dr. George, along with MRI's that were taken, he had a plan that worked. I would recommend Dr. George to anyone needing a GI.

I had a colonoscopy 15 months ago and a large mass was found in my colon. My wife and I believe if you need surgery you may as well have one of the best. After much research we found Dr. George at MUSC in Charleston. He did my surgery and only used a small incision in my navel to remove the mass. Very little pain afterwards, no pain killers were needed. Loved it when Dr. George came to see me every morning with his 'entourage' in tow. He and his entire staff are wonderful and I am scheduled for follow up colonoscopy in 2 weeks, (1 year later). Can't say I'm looking forward do THAT, but am looking forward to seeing Dr. George!
