She was very thorough and made sure all questions were addressed.

I was experiencing back pain in the summer of 2023. I sought out medical guidance because I had never experienced this kind of ailment before. Virginia Wu Was the only person available that day. She is a nurse practitioner. She did a quick examination of me and was not sure what it was. I offered the possibility of it being muscular, as I am very active and healthy. (I had just had my entire blood work done earlier that year and everything was normal.) She immediately shut that opinion down, saying that it definitely was not muscular. Virginia Wu was dismissive and demeaning. She ordered ultrasound tests as a solution, which were in a different building not near the location I was seeing her in. It took hours to drive over to the other location, wait to be seen, wait to get the ultrasound. It was such a long excruciating day, especially being so uncomfortable and in pain. Virginia Wu failed to care or even listen to what I was saying about the possibility of it being a muscular… issue and not something more serious. She guaranteed me that it likely was serious and I needed to have all these tests done. Which, of course, scared me even more. After I got the test results back, saying everything was perfectly normal, from the advice of friends, I sought out a chiropractor who diagnosed the problem in less than five minutes time. Turns out, the problem was a pulled intercostal muscle in between the ribs. He was able to adjust the muscle and fix it within 24 hours! I write this review because I was reminded recently of this situation. Family and friends have urged me to write a review warning people about the lack of empathy, concern or care from nurse practitioner, Virginia Wu, but most importantly, the fact that she was so very wrong. And not only wrong, but completely dismissive toward me. I had to pay over $200 out-of-pocket for those ultrasounds and blood work when it wasn’t even necessary. In my entire life, (I’m in my mid 40s), Virginia Wu Continues to be the worst experience I’ve ever had from any medical professional.
