Dr. Vivek Sahai, MD

Dr Sahai has replaced both my hips and knees. I would not have had anyone else do them my right hip was done the end of April and the recovery has been the best and easiest. The changes in medical treatment have improved and I am now a full bionic (2 hips & 2 knees). Thank you Dr Sahai.

Dr. Sahai is an amazing doctor. We all want a doctor who is on top of medical field. You’ll get that with Dr. Sahai. But you’ll also get a doctor who is kind and thorough and who keeps his door open to you. Don’t think twice about going to see him. There’s a reason that there’s a months long wait to see Dr. Sahai.

Dr. Sahai replaced my knee 3 months ago. I had next to no pain post surgery and did not take any prescription pain meds. I stopped the over-the-counter pain meds after one week and still did not have any noticeable pain. I attribute this to Dr. Sahai's skill as a surgeon plus doing prehab PT exercises and walking as much as I could before surgery. Perhaps my results are not typical, but the discomfort from surgery wasn't really any different than what I experienced from 10 years of living with bone-on-bone and a meniscus tear. I highly recommend Dr. Sahai and will choose him again if I have to have my other knee replaced.

Dr. Sahai is kind and considerate but does not listen to all that the patient tells him. Then when there is a bad outcome ~ he takes no responsibility for it. Even though he did the surgery. Maybe he should slow down and pay better attention!

Dr. Sahai is an excellent surgeon. He has done both hips and both knees. I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. He is the best in my opinion.

Had such a positive experience…wonderful bedside manner…all my questions were answered…he is a very kind surgeon…I highly recommend him and his staff..they were always available in a timely manner

Dr. Sahai is so personable, very intelligent and a great ortho surgeon! I had a hip replacement on 10/17 and am getting around fine. No pain now which is amazing since I had been having so much pain and difficulty walking for months prior to this surgery. He is so reassuring as well and he actually called the evening before my surgery to ask if I was ready and if I had any questions. I’ve had a few surgeries over the years and have never had a surgeon call to see how I was and make sure I was ready. He was funny too, he told me to get some sleep and said he would do the same and see me in the morning ??

Attentive, professional and knowledgeable staff; hip surgery was very successful! I was walking without pain soon after. Dr. Sahai is a superb surgeon and I would highly recommend him for a hip replacement. Ortho One is a top notch practice!

I had a hip injury which I lived with for 15 years never fully feeling comfortable with the orthopedists I met to do a total reconstruction and replacement. When I and my family met Dr Sahai, we immediately agreed he was the one we could trust to handle this difficult surgery. True to his word, I went into surgery at 7:00 am and was done by 9 am and went home the same day at 8 pm. Never had a single moment of pain, was able to walk with my surgical leg and have mostly regained full use of the leg. The muscles in the leg has recovered use, strength and stamina. His calm yet confident demeanor was reassuring for all of us. I recommended him to everyone I meet with a need for an orthopedic surgeon. Thank Dr Sahai, you are truly a gift to those in need.
