Dr. Vlady Ostrow, DO

I was concerned about my child's growth and went to see Dr. Ostrow. He followed him for years , and although his height % was steadily dropping, he did not order any tests and told us he was just a "late bloomer." He eventually told us that we didn't need to continue to see our son. Since our son was still not growing well, we went for a second opinion. The new doctor ordered blood work and one number was low. After my son fell off the growth chart, a growth hormone stim test was performed and we learned our son has a growth hormone deficiency. To say Dr. Ostrow dropped the ball is an understatement. He diagnosed my son as a "late bloomer" without doing a bone age, blood work or a GH stim test.

After making an appointment almost 2 months in advance, office lost appointment and said we would have to reschedule. Insisted on being seen then it took multiple calls on my end to get a returned call was told we would hear 3-4 days, it took 12 days and 2 phone calls to get results. Find a better office.
