I am a physician who just had my own mother see Dr. Sexton at Moffitt Cancer Center for bladder cancer. His breath of knowledge, military style discipline, bedside manners, and wisdom is simply the best. This man inspires full trust and confidence, honesty, and a genuine desire to improve a patient’s quality of life. He is Moffitt’s Physician of the Year, and in our first encounter it shows why. We live in Orlando but will travel for everything he recommends in Tampa. He is a blessing from God. Do not think twice about obtaining his opinion on any urologic malignancy. He has access to the latest oncológica care for urothelial malignancies because Moffitt is a National Cancer Institute Center of Excellence and they participate in the latest research protocols for surgery, chemo, and radiation, even for patients that ordinarily would not qualify elsewhere. In addition, he is a fellowship trained oncologic urologist from the number 1 cancer center in the world. He humbles us as… physicians.

Doctor Wade Sexton had to remove Moms bladder because of cancer and she’s doing great now! He’s extremely knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate Urologist! We lucked out having him do the surgery ?? Can’t thank him enough ????

I saw this man twice with my love one, the first visit I was not to sure, BUT oh my gosh, Dr. Sexton, did his very best in performing my love ones surgery, he followed him , even while he was out of the U.S. to make sure he was getting the best care, I am over the top with this man, I can see that he really cares about what he is doing, what the patient wants, and what is in the best interest for the patients safety. My love one is still recovering from a very complicated surgery, but I feel that my love one could not of selected a better surgeon. I feel hope for my love one, I feel life and I feel that this man really cares. He has this compassion and he will give his patients all he got to make them better, without taking any short cuts.
