Dr Wassef started off well, but as my illness got worse over many weeks he was scarce, final follow up diagnosis was vague, he’s attitude was flippant speaking to me So upset, still in pain. No answers He needs to retire

After 7 years with a Boston hi doc. He found out that I had an insufficient pancreas after just one visit. I feel very comfortable with him and confident. In his competency. He has been an angel sent from above. Who knows where I would be with out a diagnosis.

I wish that I had not read any reviews before my first endoscopy/colonoscopy last year as they resulted in unjustified anxiety. I found Dr. Wassef to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. He called me personally with test results, taking time to answer questions, leaving me feeling well informed. My procedure was performed at UMASS hospital and all of the staff, including the anesthesiologist, were very nice. My follow-up endoscopy is in a few weeks and I have no anxiety about this one.

I was seeing a "specialist" in Boston for my condition and I was not happy with his lack of communication, bedside manner, or overall lack of caring. I ended up looking for a Doctor closer to home whom I would feel more comfortable with. I found Dr. Wassef on the internet and decided to make an appointment. I am so happy I did that. Dr. Wassef, so far, has taken the time to explain exactly what my condition is and the quickness of his setting me up for diagnostic tests to confirm everything. In the two years since being diagnosed with IPMN of the pancreas, he is the only one who explained exctly what I should be doing and getting me on the right course of monitoring my condition before it worsens. As I said, overall, I am very pleased with Dr. Wassef and his staff and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.Thank you!
