Dr. Wallace Carroll Vaughan JR., MD

Just a heads up to warn people about a Doctor in town. I had a biopsy on a spot in my throat that Dr Vaughan did. He then talked me into doing a deviated septum surgery while I was gonna be under anyway. That surgery got botched and was the worst experience of my life. I have never had a problem with sinus infections until after surgery....now I get them every month. Been through 5 rounds of antibiotics in the last 6 months and still having problems. His exact words were “you are wearing me out”. He told me to just do daily saline rinses for the rest of my life and I should be ok. REALLY? He has not even done any scans to see what’s going on. He just gives me antibiotics and sends me packing.This man should not be in practice. Awful bedside manner too. Make sure you check reviews before you do something like this.

I was pushed off to Dr Vaughn many years ago from a surgeon who deemed me "a problem patient". My nose collapsed after his surgery and after a lengthy recovery I was to start seeing "the new doc" at that point ..... Little did I know at that time, Dr Vaughn would discuss a link between my ear issues and breast cancer based on a study he had just reviewed in college..He suggested I stay on top on my self exams since I was only 26 years old then. Fast Forward to my 40th birthday, I notice something that landed me with a cancer confirmation...HE saved My LIFE and never knew it.. I Thank GOD Often for being pushed over to him...We never know reasons why things happen .... but GOD does and HE is in Control! I cringe to think what would have happened If I'd waited for a mammogram to find it.. And am SO Appreciative for the extra years I've Enjoyed because of Dr Vaughns care!

Dr Vaughan is the best! He helped my son immensely with his serious sinus issues. Thank God for Dr Vaughan and his wonderful staff.

Have been a patient for many years for a variety of ENT issues. Dr. Vaughan and his staff have always been friendly, kind, and helpful. He has a dry sense of humor and always seems to put me at ease during my visit. He is professional and listens to whatever you tell him. He is intuitive and has helped me tremendously. I wouldn't want to see any other ENT except him! Staff is always helpful and return calls promptly.

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Vaughan to anyone! My experience with him and his facility was so terrible that I cannot even put it into words. He does not need to have the authority of having a license to practice.

I had nasal swelling and this man looked at my nose with a flashlight for less than five seconds literally and told me there's nothing wrong with me. When I tried to explain the problem all he did was to make some stupid joke. Lazy thing. That was the easiest money he had ever made. I went to a different doctor and is being treated for the condition.

If you are willing to endure Dr. Vaughn's impatience, poor bedside manners, complaining about money, and his corny jokes, then this is the doctor for you. Otherwise, please run for the hills!

He was able to quickly say what was wrong after having seen multiple other doctors who couldn't figure it out. he had a friendly demeanor that put both me and my husband at ease.
