Sadism. This person belongs in jail.

I am a current patient (for about 10 years), and I cannot attest to the traits and criticisms found in the other reviews. Dr. K. is polite, albeit, with a very dry personality. My visits with him are not therapeutic. We go through the motions, but, in all honesty, he's just a necessary step in the overly complicated process of obtaining prescriptions for my ADHD.

Please DO NOT see Dr Kammerer. He is the worst psychiatrist that I have ever seen. He is rude, impatient, and argumentative. Unfortunately he has almost a cruel demeanor and is impatient with patient concerns. I really dreaded seeing him and finally found someone INFINITLEY better. Again, you can definitely find someone MUCH better than Dr K, so please keep looking and get a referral from someone you trust.

Psychotic

seemed more interested in prolonging my misery than in finding a solution. I was actually afraid of him and began having panic attacks when i had an appointment with him. I would not recommend him at all.

Sadistic in nature. Class action waiting to happen. Has very little to no grasp on reality. Very pretentious. Gets excited from inflicting damage.

At age 60, after years of depression, I've been diagnosed with bipolar II. Yikes. I knew something wasn't right, but this? My therapist recommended Dr. Kammerer. He wasn't accepting new patients, but he made an exception for me at my therapists request. And am I glad he did. I have seen him twice. He does take lots of notes (what if he didn't?) and asks lots of questions regarding timeline; when did this medication start, how long did the episode last, how did you feel then, etc. He is reserved and soft-spoken but friendly and professional. My therapist said he is excellent with medications and he listened carefully to my expectations of medication(s) before prescribing. Things are finally looking up (but not too up!) I would certainly recommend him.

Wow, I had seen this person apx.15 years ago at Lutheran General prior to him being in practice where he is now. I see one site he has 1.5 stars and on here he is given 3 which is generous. He is ridiculous! No personality, seems bothered. Basically useless because he has no idea what is going on with anyone I am sure. As I remember the resident underneath him at the time who was great even called him out in front of me as he wasn't able to grasp the most simple thing and of course seemed bothered. There were several things and I can't write them all. Please just stay away! What a joke!

Warren Kammerer, kept me in his hospital for 30 days. This man was so out of touch with reality and delusional. I expect better when I had to pay the hospital $150,000 dollars for not taking his ability. I will pass, you do not treat a patient with an antipyschotic for Panic attacks and hyperventalation. So he took me on my birthday to court, flip the eye of Horus to the judge.#Masonicsymbol... Wins the case and had to take his medication for 7 days until I was discharged. Felt like a mummy, the medicine was my only ticket out of the hospital. He may be a good man, but definitely not a good pyshiatrist. Good luck Warren.
