Dr. Warren Sykes Koontz, MD

Dr Koontz was one of the worst Doctors I’ve ever seen...he wouldn’t listen, he could have cared less. He also kept trying to push pills... after i even declined the first time. He kept reading random non relevant things from my chart. I can’t imagine what it’s like to make that much money just to write prescriptions and referrals every 15 minutes... This is like the 4threview I’ve ever written... of anything.

Waited for almost 2 hours to be seen for 5 minutes. Doctor doesn't seem to care or know what he is doing. After explaining the pain and discomfort I am having he checked my temperature, blood pressure and said he rally doesn't know what's wrong with me. I had to ask to do the blood test to dig deeper as I was having pain for over a week now. Doctor agreed, walked me to the lab. I still don't know what I visited him... I could get better care from clinic at a grocery store

I have very few health issues even though I am 77 so I have not had a lot of interaction with this doctor. My insurance requires an annual wellness visit. The doctor's office called me since I had not scheduled one. When I arrived he didn't know why I was there and was confused that my visit was a follow up to a previous visit. I had to remind him he called me and not the other way around. Also, he had not reviewed my file prior to seeing me and sometimes referred to outdated numbers. I guess well patient visits are boring. :-)
