Long wait, terrible personality, no communication of what to expect after procedure, should retire. Staff was very nice.

My initial call to schedule an appointment was trying. The scheduler’s rudeness was palpable. After requesting that someone else assist, she quickly transferred me to another scheduler (African American), who kindly performed her hired duties. This should have been my clue not to waste my time at this office, but I really was in need of a second opinion. Unfortunately, I was left in the waiting room for an hour and half. After watching two white males, that had just walked into the office, go right back after only sitting briefly, I decided to go to the front desk and ask how much longer the wait would be. The receptionist got up, sought the nurse, only for her to come out with something of an attitude to say that the doctor was just returning from a two week vacation. How a doctor's vacation causes him to be over an hour behind, is beyond me. I don't see how it relates. I eventually, requested my CT scan back and cancelled my appointment. Staff is a reflection of the doctor.

Dr. Ambroze is a very qualified colon surgeon. He operated on me 20 yrs.ago and had to do a JPouch on me and today I am doing fine. Still make regular visits to him. Wonderful and well knowledgeable surgeon.

I had a 2pm appointment. I wasn’t seen until 3:45pm. Dr. Ambroze came in didn’t apologize and started asking questions. He did a quick 5 min exam and said everything was fine. He didn’t stay to answer any questions. I felt rushed and worried now I didn’t get the care I should have received. Hopefully everything is okay even though I was sent into him from another doctor. The only good experience I had was with the nurse. The front office lady is clueless and I can see why it is run so poorly.

Maybe we were just unlucky and it doesn't happen often, but I accompanied an elderly friend there . We arrived at 1:30pm for her 1:45 pm appt. We left at 4:30 pm.!!!.. At 2 pm we were taken to a small examining room and told to keep the door closed. There we were until 4:20 pm when the doctor breezed in . He never apologized and checked out my friend for about 5 minutes. He may be a competent surgeon but his office is a disaster.

Has no bed side manner. Didn’t tell me what caused what I had. Will never go back to him. After he got done with “treating me” he just quickly left and had no care about his patient.

I was diagnosed with colon cancer and Dr. Ambroze saw me almost immediately. He scheduled my surgery very soon after that. I was very sick and it was imperative that I have the surgery as soon as possible. He listened to my concerns and explained everything to me in terms that I could understand. Dr. Ambroze is a first-class surgeon.

Dr Ambroze did my surgery in 2011. He was fantastic then, and I returned for my colonoscopy in Nov.2017. Again no problems, concerns. From appointment set-up through procedure and aftercare, Dr Ambroze is wonderful.

Terrible! Such a jerk. I was very nervous to have him "check things out." (I'm a female in my early 20's and went to see him alone.) He stood there blank faced and told me he had to or I needed to leave. Then he undercut my dire pain by saying on a scale of 1-10, mine was a "mild 2." Needless to say, I ran out of there in tears and will NOT be returning. Empathy goes a long way. However, the nurses deserve five stars.
