Dr. Wayne Franklin Bizer, MD

Dr. Wayne Bizer is possibly the most personable, compassionate, caring & professional individule in his field that I've yet to encounter. I first met Dr. Bizer when I was 6 years old & had just burned the 7 layers of my cornea off as a result of a chemical burn. For the first 6-12 months I had to go into his office about once a week, which slowly tapered off to about once - twice a month. When I was about to lose my eye, Dr. Bizer and an associate got creative, trying to beat the clock to ensure they could save the eye. I had a stem cell transplant the summer before my 3rd grade year of school, because of the work that Dr. Bizer & his associate, as well as all the others they consulted on my case, and it was a total success. While I have terrible sight in the eye, you can't tell the difference when looking at me, and I can still see a good amount in comparison to being blinded. I'm now 22 years old, and owe Dr. Bizer a great deal of gratitude. He was literally the best doctor I could… have gotten given the situation, and as a scared child it was nice to know I was in good hands with him & never doubt my safety. He would comfort me when I was scared, he would explain things further when confused, and he would crack jokes at my dad's expense which always helped lighten the mood. I would suggest anyone who is considering to go to him, he truly is a one of a kind doctor.

No one is NICER. He is just not only a good doctor, but a wonderful man. I have been coming to him for 14 years. The only problem is not his fault. He is so good, it is often hard to book appointments. I wish seniors who don't work would book in the mornings, so those of us who do work could get the needed afternoon hours.

i was apprehensive when i had my cataract surgery. i have been so pleased with the procedure and follow up care. i praise dr bizer as he gave me something so precious, he gave me back my SIGHT. i asked him if his patients fell in love with him, as i certainly did

Dr Bizer is regarded by his peers as one of the top eye Drs in the country. He is also head of the eye dept at Nova University in Davie Florida. I wouldn't use anyone else.
