Dr. Wayne E Carr, MD

I waited at home all day for the doctor to call me for our scheduled preliminary interview. He never called, nor explained himself. He has now done this type of thing twice. I would describe his therapy method as "new age flake". He seems to lack the ability to establish a real relationship with his patient. Instead he relies upon contrived techniques that are ineffective and rather comical. Look elsewhere for a genuine therapist that wants to help you

Came on to me after knowing my vulnerable history.

Dr. Carr is an amazing psychotherapist. I use the tools he taught me all the time. He is very respectful and courteous. He has such a positive auora about him. He makes things easy to understand. He's simply a great teacher and mentor. I wasn't intimidated by him at all, and I felt like I could talk openly to him about what is going on in my head!

Dr Carr brought psychic abilities into therapy appointments and invited me to his "remote viewing" workshops many times throughout my time seeing him. He did this in spite of me expressing that I am not interested in psychic abilities and that I don't feel it helps me. I asked him many times to not bring up psychic abilities or remote viewing, and he ignored my wishes and told me that if I don't believe in remote viewing, it is because of "psychological defenses". This is the worst experience I've ever had in therapy.
