Dr. Wendell Dean Wyatt, MD

I saw Dr. Wyatt while he did a temporary fill-in for my regular doctor (he had retired and the clinic was still searching for a permanent residential Doctor). He was one of the most professional, knowledgable, and caring doctors I have encountered. I have Multiple Sclerosis, Chiari Malformation (form of spinal bifidia), fibromyalgia, bone spurs and herniated disks in my back and neck, and multiple other health issues. To say that I'm medically complex to treat is an understatement. I'm also a very active widowed mom of three teenagers and two adopted foster teens. My previous doctor was awesome so Dr Wyatt had large shoes to fill. Not only did he fill those shoes he out grew them lol. He sympathized and empathized with me when talking to me but most of all he LISTENED. Because of my ailments and my desire to be extremely active and not medicated I have learned to be my own advocate in the health care world. In the short time I had Doctor Wyatt he showed that he was truly an advocate… for his patients and their best interests. He wasn't a puppet for the health care industry or pharmaceutic companies, he was a DOCTOR. When I was informed of his last day and that he was being transferred I was very saddened. Anyone who has the opportunity to have this man as a general Doctor is beyond lucky. He is truly a diamond among all the coal of the medical profession. I have never written a review for any Doctor (and you can see by my extensive medical issues I have seen many many general doctors and specialists) or specialist but I felt the need to write one for Doctor Wyatt. He is an amazing Doctor, one who is advocate for his patients, and treats not just their bodies but their minds and lifestyles. I can't sing enough praises for him, he is the epitome of what a true and real physician should be. Thank you Doctor Wyatt!
