Wendy Thuy Nguyen, MD

After failing for many months, even years, to consider my ex-wife's chest discomfort it was discovered she had stage 4 lung cancer. Dr. Nguyen, always in a hurry, just missed every sign. (Other doctors were amazed.) Then on another occasion my ex slipped and dislocated her back, which ultimately caused a major back operation. That accident caused my ex to miss a cruise and lose about $3,000 because Dr. Nguyen refused to even sign a simple letter -- prepared for her -- outlining the basic facts as the insurance company requested. Dr. Nguyen originally said she would help, but then said researching my ex's case would require her hours and she would charge $500 an hour. She is, in a word, a disgrace to the profession.

I accompanied my husband to his appointment with Dr. Nguyen to ensure he informed her of some problems he was having. She listened and was truly concerned. After we left, she continued to think about his problems and called us at home to set up a referral for a MRI. After she received the results, she called us at home to go over those results and what our next steps were going to be to correct his problems. Bottom line, if it were not for Dr. Nguyen’s persistence, he would have had far more serious problems that would have affected his quality of life. Dr. Nguyen is a FANTASTIC Doctor and we are so grateful to have her as our Primary Doctor. She is definitely a Top Rated Doctor??

I had a fantastic Doctor John Nguyen, unfortunately he moved to a different state. Hes the best doctor ever if anyone in Florida is needing one! I chose Wendy thinking out of the Doctors in this office she has to be good as her brother.. Was I wrong. She has no bedside manner, its like she doesn't want to be bothered with me. I went to the ER room for a week with Pneumonia, i have been out for 4 days I went to her office today for check up.. I took an Oxygen tank in she never once asked about it, ahhh not like she couldn't see it.. My family nor I have been pleased with her from the beginning of her taking over my appointments, felt like she tried to change up my medicines when i didn't have a problem with them. To many Good doctors in San Antonio to settle for one that obviously doesn't appear to care about me as a patient. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I will move on to finding a doctor that fits my needs. Disappointed 12/20/017

Dr. Nguyen makes me feel like family.

had to wait a 70 minutes for her to see me. Of course, this office has a "no tolerance" policy for patients who are late. Neither she nor her staff approached me to tell me how late she was going to be or the reason why.

At 79 years of age, I feel that my body is falling apart .Today I visited Dr. Wendy, my complaint is three weeks of sciatic pain . she is the most empathetic doctor I have had in my last 15 painful years. most are too busy .Its hard to see your doctor during an emergency. god bless Dr. Wendy and her practice.

I selected this dr. as my primary provider for now and the future to oversee and coordinate any health issues. I do not recommend this dr.due to not being aware of my health history (scheduling an expensive specialist visit for diagnostic purposes while unaware that it had already been done); poor on diagnosis and not asking diagnostic questions to assist in a plan; almost immediately prescribing medications, one after another, not knowing if any had been prescribed previously and what the results or side effects had been; not looking at or suggesting other appropriate and realistic modes of treatment besides prescriptions; not showing interest in doing the right thing for the patient. I am disappointed that this dr. did not treat as a primary care provider but rather as a walk-in clinic dr. I do not know why I stayed two years.

This doctor practices bad medicine. I had a stomach amoeba, which she never paid any attention to it. Horrible manner. You have to diagnosis yourself. I do not care what anyone says: be wary of this doctor. She should come with a warning label on her lab coat . Goodness!

I was sick, but I didn't realize how much so... She may have saved my life!!Her engagement was fantastic, and her follow-up was incredible!!

Dr. W. Nguyen was truly caring, intelligent, saw the whole picture, diagnosed me well, gave me hard, but needed advice about my health. She made it easy for me to talk and tell her all that was going on in my life, so that she could see the whole picture. Even if I call her int he middle of the night (when she's on call) she is caring and tells me what I need to know for my health. I highly recommend her.
