Dr. King's mild manner, medical expertise and patent passion clearly saved the day. After a nearly fatal accident while cycling Maui, and after a year of "pain management" by many MDs, it was Dr. King who carefully and professionally reviewed the MRI then advised an appropriate procedure to alleviate the chronic back pain. It was instant relief post op. It's now been nearly 18 mos post-surgery. I'm back walking and cycling like any other active person in their 70s. Clearly, it was Dr. King's training and experience in neurosurgery and his wonderful people skills that ultimately transformed by chronic pain to a pain-free existence. Also important was Dr. King's wonderful professional and friendly staff. Their "patient first" and congenial characteristics are tremendous positive assets to the neuro team at Cedars. Dr King is amazing. I have had numerous back surgeries and switched to Dr. King for the last one. My pain is gone! I have never had such a positive result. I wish I had met him years ago!!

Staff were very helpful in setting up the appointment.Dr. King took the time to educate and show us what the problem was. If i would have been given all this info at first,then i may not have felt the need to get a second opinion. I was glad i did though because now i feel a whole lot better on making up my mind about the course of treatment for my issue.I say a thank you to him.

Couldn't find an office so began the interview in a waiting area. Was cold and matter-of-fact about his examination, ordered a brutal test, then never called to report the results. When I called, he seemed annoyed and told me all was fine. Another opinion later I was diagnosed with a degenerative disease and given some help to cope with it. I paid over $300.00 for no help whatsoever.

Dr. King is an overall amazing doctor! Very intelligent with fantastic bedside manners. He was very knowledgeable about the procedure I was having done, took his time to answer all of my questions and made me feel at ease about the procedure. I am now 3 months post op and Dr King still continues to check in and follow up with me.

You just cannot find a better neurosurgeon than Dr. King, and his caring, compassionatemanner is so critical during such a vulnerable time in one's life as have neurosurgery. He made the entire ordeal much less stressful with his caring nature, his humor, and his excellent surgical skill.

Was especially impressed with seeing him waking up in recovery room. Then his super early morning rounds & returning in afternoon. Easy to talk to, thorough and relatable explanations.
