Dr. Wilbert James Henneberg, MD

Not only did he dismiss my pelvic and menstrual pain (which turned out to be severe endometriosis), but he pushed an IUD that I did not want. I got the IUD feeling it was my only option at the time to help the pain. My body rejected the IUD but each time I called him telling him of the rejection symptoms I was having he told me it was normal and to keep going. Eventually, I found a different doctor to take the IUD out and give me a proper endometriosis diagnosis. Out of all of the doctors I have ever seen, he was the worst. Save yourself the time and find a different doctor.

So where do I begin. This was our first pregnancy and my husband and I relied on Dr. Henneberg to make the right decisions, but unfortunately that was not the case. When we met for the first time, he seemed to be empathetic and caring. However, that was far from the truth. He has an attitude towards his patients and he makes you feel demeaning. Heâ??s the type of doctor who doesnâ??t explain results or events and is always in and out the door. When we asked questions, his answers were always very short and dry. My labor experience was traumatizing and when comparing my experience with two of my girlfriends who also had babies the same year, I find that I was very unfortunate to have had Dr. Henneberg. I was induced because I was suffering from hypertension (high blood pressure). The day of delivery I must have had about 7 different nurses in my room. It is then when I realized how gentle they all were at the time they checked me for dilation. On the other hand, the doctor was… incredibly rough. After 7 or 8 hours of labor, he said that I was not dilating fast enough and that I would probably need a C-section. So he decided to go home and after a total of 12 hours of labor, I was ready to have my baby naturally, but the doctor was nowhere to be found. The nurses paged him and called him several times and the wait was so unbearable. I was in so much pain and I just couldnâ??t believe he planned the induction, yet was nowhere to be found. He eventually got there and my baby girl was out in 30 minutes. Must have been nice for him to just get there and receive the baby. I suffered from a serious tear because he was so late he didnâ??t have time to practice an episiotomy. He didnâ??t inform me of how many stiches he gave me, but it was a serious tear and the stiches were many. The pain and swelling was unbearable, but got worse 3 days later. I called him to let him know that the pain was getting worse and to my dismay, he said that I just had a baby and that of course it would hurt. He pretty much said not to bother him unless I had fever. I was so discouraged by his words and just asked my husband to take me to a hospital near our house.. The result, I had a severe bladder infection! The bladder infection was causing a whole lot more pain every time I had to urinate. In conclusion, our experience was not good. My advice, research your doctor and take your time. Ask questions and donâ??t be afraid to switch doctors.

He is calm and clear. He answers questions very matter of fact which both me and my husband appreciated. He supported my decisions even when he didn't necessarily thought it was the best option.

I had my daughter 20 years ago, my son 18 years ago and my hysterectomy 17 years ago. I still feel a strong appreciation for this wonderfully professional physician. I stronly recommend him and his office staff. He is personable, professional, kind and has an excellent bedside manner. His office staff is thorough and friendly. I had to change physicians due to insurance changes but would go back to him immediatley if I could.

I can't wait to have our second child with him as my doctor. What a wonderful doctor. Nice - polite - direct - caring and so professional.
