Pleasant and informative doctor and friendly staff. No long wait time.

Staff was very pleasant and kept me informed as I proceeded through the various eye tests. I have a couple of eye conditions that must be monitored. I'm been able to get an appointment when I needed it. Dr. Aldred is busy so he doesn't spend a lot of time socializing but he is knowledgeable, approachable, and receptive to explaining and elaborating. Expect to spend a chunk of time doing eye tests and waiting for your pupils to dilate before you see the doctor. It is what it is but every person on staff was helpful, attentive and friendly. I've been seeing Dr Aldred for a couple of years and I'm pleased with the service and care I get from him and his office.

Was a patient for many years and never had any problems. Last visit ( in more ways than one ) was on a Friday with only a handful of patients in the waiting room. The entire visit took forever (hours actually) and when I asked to speak to the manager of the practice it took weeks to get a call from her. Several days later was issued a letter of dismissal. Did some research and found it was the doctor himself who issued the dismissal. So I guess the attitude is you pay your money shut your mouth and leave. Any questions and we dismiss you as a patient. Nice way to run a doctor's office. Must have taken a hypocritical oath instead of the Hippocratic one!!

Went to this man for treatment for macular degeneration and was told it would take injections...ok not a problem as I have insurance and Medicare. However the nurse found my insurance too much trouble but did not tell me until I was there for the injections. Dr. rudely said can’t have my assistant tied up with your insurance so find another provider. My eyes were dilated, my driver had lost pay, skipped morning meds, lost sleep in anticipation...such poor treatment from “professionals”. Bad nurse (Tonya) and bad doctor...

Set up an appointment for treatment after extensive testing on an eye bleed. Doctor told me how successful the treatment was before he did the treatment. After it was pointed out I was not treated he said the treatment would do little good and was canceled. Result two appointments in 18 days, no treatment and don't know if treatment is needed. First appointment yes treatment is needed, at treatment appointment, treatment not needed and will do little good.

I had to go to another dr. to get a correct diagnosis.

Front desk check in and out unprofessional ... the manger was never there.

Dr. Aldred has kept me from going blind for 30 years. I have been a diabetic since the age of 10, and im 50 now. Dr. Aldred has no bedside manner and only spends the neccesary time that is needed with you. I have had to wait in his office for long periods of time before but not often. If laser surgary is need and it is serious he does it right then. I have been the ergent surgary before so i dont mind waiting. He is the best in the area in my opinion. The man knows what he is doing.
