Dr. William James Athans, MD

William Athens is way too serious and never smiles. I went to see him twice and He spent 5 minutes with me, didn’t listen to anything I said, rushed out of the room without asking me if I had any questions. Didn’t give me advice or recommendations on what I need to do. dr Athens is the worst doctor I’ve ever had whh doesn’t have any compassion. I was in excruciating pain and he didn’t care. The assistant gave me copies of printed exercises but the images were so dark it’s hard to see the images. As soon as you walk I they collect the down payment, all they care about is the money.

Absolutely horrible Dr. If you don't need surgery you will be rushed out and talked down to.

this doctor should hide in the jungle, very unfriendly not sociable once he see no opportunity to conduct surgery he does not seem to be interested, does not seem to enjoy life nor patients and loves more his bankaccount

this doctor does not seem to like people, very dry and barely says hello never seen this before no human relation i come to the conclusion if he does not see an opportunity to do surgery he is not interested looks like a doctor who does not enjoy life nor people but checks his bank account every hour

Seen Dr Athans for 1st time,hip s1, side pain, really liked him, he took time, explained in detail his thoughts, checked knee issue also, not rushed, would highly recommend

Dr. Athans, and I use that title loosely is rude and arrogant and has a very poor attitude. My impression is that he memorized the textbook and cannot function outside of it. He performed surgery on me and when weeks after I was still in pain he kept telling me how I should be feeling. No follow up MRIs to find out what was causing the pain. He is great at writing prescriptions for pain. He gave me a prescription that actually knocked me out. I told him sometime after that I ccouldn’t take it because I was back at work and It wasn’t safe to take and fro. He actually argued with me that it shouldn’t make me sleepy. On the bottle it says causes drowsiness and dizziness. He hears but he does not listen. Get yourself another dr. That is what I am in the process of doing to repair or complete his botch job.

I saw him twice. I did not care for him at all. I didn't want pills, I wanted him to fix my problem. Bone on bone in my hip. I need a new hip. He says I am too young and told me to go exercise. I will never go back there again. This is affecting my quality of life and that didn't seem to matter to him. He told me to go and stretch. Gave me Duexis (ibuprofen with famotodine). Again, I don't want pills, I want it fixed! So not happy....

I seen Dr Athans yesterday for the first and was very impressed. The whole experience from the time I walked into the office to the time I checked out was great. Wonderful staff ! Dr Athans is very compassionate. He listens to what you have to say and discusses your options. Most doctors these days come into the exam room tell you what they want to do and they are out of the office before you can ask a question. Not Dr Athans Thank you all for treating me like I was special ! I would recommend Dr Athans to my family & friends.
