FOLLOWS UP ON TREATMENT

You get good health care. The doctors are no nonsense, come in, do their thing and leave. Their bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. The best experience I had in the twenty plus years going there was with the nurse practitioner Sarah. She had empathy, understanding, and took the time to listen and actually hear what you have to say and take the time to work out a plan with you. The office staff leaves allot to be desired, their customer service is poor. All but one lady in the front office are rude and do not take privacy to heart. I find it appalling that a doctor's office will dismiss someone that has been going to them for over twenty years because they fell on hard times and had to pay a bill late. There is no appreciation for loyalty at this office. It is a shame that a doctor's office has gotten so big, they have lost the meaning of bedside manner, and the patient's health comes first and foremost.

I grew up seeing Dr. Baucom but have to go elsewhere since my insurance changed. Only downside was the wait times I always had. BUT I soon learned that it's because he will sit and listen to what you have to say so his appointments tend to back up. The staff up there is always very nice. The only draw back I'd say is that he is in a large practice so it's hard to call up and get right thru to someone.

He continually over-medicates my mother despite me and my sister making an appointment to sit and talk with him face-to-face after she over-dosed on pain medication and subsequently stabbed herself in the eye causing loss of her left eye entirely. Even after that incident a few years ago, he continues to prescribe narcotic pain medication. We had to take her to ER again last week because of an overdose. Someone should stop him before he cause loss of life.

Misdiagnosis of simple UTI led to unnecessary hospitalization. Comes across as very snotty and "know it all". Insisted a procedure had been done when it actually had not. Doesn't seem to listen or care.

He was very nice and thorough with his diagnosis and really brought my anxiety level down (I am not much of a Doctor person) I recommend him highly.

My husband & I both see Dr. Baucom, and we just love him! He is very thorough and has great bedside manner!

Dr. Baucom is by far the best physician I have ever had. He was able to diagnose my problem when others had failed. I think that he uses diligence and care with his patients.
