Dr. William Choi, MD

His lumbar decompression surgery 16 months ago turned my moderate lumbar back pain into constant severe pain. He missed removing an obvious bone spur pressing against my L4 nerve root. His surgery damaged critical back tissues. My life is destroyed. Mr pain Choosing him is the worst decision I've ever made in my life. Avoid him like the plague. My pain is worse than ever. He denied worsening the pain, but he refused to fix it. Today scumbag. AVOID!!!

Worst doctor with incompetent office staff. Dr Choi is arrogant, hurried and detached. His staff are equally awful. It's very difficult to leave a message or receive a followup phone call. I had a 3 month relationship with Dr Choi and his staff and it was a miserable experience. I had my cervical surgery performed elsewhere with 100% satisfaction and 100% success. Overall, my experience with Dr Choi was substandard, unprofessional and inept. I would advise you to seek treatment elsewhere.

On Aug. 2015 had Fision on L-5 S-1.. It has been almost 3-months and I am Not taking Pain Pills.. Was on Narco for at least 2-1/2 years.. I am so Happy I found Dr. Choi.... 5- Star Rating & More..

I've had 2 great experiences with Dr. Choi. He is very attentive and straight-forward with what is going on which is greatly appreciated.

I had fusion a year ago and now Precision Spine is threatening to send my $7500 bill to a collection agency. They use a Mr. Hamby as a 'Certified First Assistant' knowing he is going to be 'out-of-network.' My insurance paid $7500 but they continue to bill me the rest. I talked to the office manager and he said this is common practice and all they want me to do is appeal to my insurance to pay more then they will drop the balance. I believe this is a scam and will not ask my insurance to pay more. Thus the collection agency threat. Shame on William Choi and Precision Spine. Beware.

Dr. Choi, has poor behavior when treating me gave me one diagnosis and then when writing it up his staff only put the MRI information or he did that said I had a sore back. I had a failed L5-S1 Fusion and he explained it very well in both appointments to both myself, daughter and my husband but what he puts on paper is a lie and then when he is called out on it refuses to see you or refer you anywhere. This is being directed to higher sources but very sad because I really believe he might be a good surgeon. However, no staff ever stay's working for him. I would get a second opinion when seeing him and I would also question his ability to work and be truthful on documents. This is very unbecoming of a man with his education and knowledge to break medical standards. Can't refer him.

It took me two years to find a neurosurgeon that I felt I could trust for major mid to lower back surgery (stenosis), as I was approaching paraplegic status at age 71. Finally settling on Dr. Choi, I was immediately impressed by the amount of time he spent with me going over the MRIs and explaining in detail when he would have to do to get me mobile again. I have never regretted that decision. I had some cardiac complications after the operation, but all of those were explained to me beforehand by Dr. Choi, and they were expertly handled. Now, over two years after the operation, my speedy recovery and the ability to regain a great deal of mobility I attribute to the exceptional skill of Dr. Choi and his staff.

Dr Choi is the best! After my fusion I woke up and my pain was gone. I only wish I had done it ten years earlier. I have sent 2 friends to him, and they also had amazing results. It is now 7 years since my surgery, and I still see him for follow up. He really cares.

The staff at the clinic and at the hospital were all so kind and genuinely careing. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend Dr Choi and Sky Ridge Medical Center!!!
