Dr. William N Costas, PhD

Dr. Costas helped me to see a way through a tough time and made me feel that I wasn't dealing with it alone. He's great, got right to work and made a difference very quickly.

I really appreciated Dr. Costas’ approach to therapy. He dealt with the immediate issues and gave practical solutions before getting into uncovering potential reasons behind negative lifelong struggles. He is firm but gentle in his approach. Instead of going straight to “tell me about your childhood”, he asked me about my week and current struggles and my thoughts surrounding that. From there, we would find recurring patterns of thoughts and actions. From there he would guide me to reach my own conclusions and offer an impartial third person point of view. My sessions felt like fun catching up with an old friend. He has a way of staring into your soul and cutting straight to the core problem despite my many attempts at diversion - it's unnerving but in a good way! He has given me clarity on issues that I have been coming back to for decades. He also gave me the vocabulary to describe it, which has helped me talk to my loved ones in a more productive way and also to approach my problem… more efficiently.

My experience during my time with Dr Costas was very beneficial to my well being. I hope to continue with his advice/therapy throughout my life.
