Coming in to talk with Dr. Dichtel was mostly a good experience. I wanted to improve my breathing after having a broken and misaligned nose since my teenage years. He said he could do that and also recommended doing rhinoplasty to reset and realign my nose. Within a year post surgery I noticed my breathing became significantly worse. He only reassured me and said everything looked good. Well, 10 years later, time has shown that he was full of it. I have been suffering with this nose, not being able to breathe normally and chronically tired and sleepy. Get at least 2-3 opinions before you go in for surgery.

Dr. Dichtel performed an experimental surgery on my daughter which was not FDA approved. We were not informed that the procedure was experimental or not FDA approved until our insurance refused to pay for it. Dr. Dichtel was very misleading although believable when talking to him. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before allowing this doctor to perform any procedures/treatments.
