very dismissive, made up stories about MRI results, that he never reviewed. Seem like I was wasting his time.

I was scared to make an appointment after reading some reviews but he’s been an outstanding doctor. Knowledgeable, polite, thorough and his residents are great too.

I've worked for orthopedic drs and this man shouldn't be allowed to practice. He's distant & way way way too quick to want to take the drastic road rather than less evasive measures! Not impressed w/his abilities or should I say the lack of ability. The current resident is worse than him! So sorry our emergent situation brought him into our lives!! I would never have allowed this man near any family member if I'd had time to check his reviews...I can see, feel and totally understand the negative responses...We too have had the misfortune of experiencing them and I can't wait to get away from him! I can't warn anyone enough to stay away from this "dr"...I also agree with the patient that said this man couldn't do what was done years prior and used the wrong hardware in the repair...I'm wondering if this is what happened in our case. There is more to this story but will give it a little more time before I repost...once we get another opinion.

I recently had an acute injury to my foot and they were able to work me in to see Dr. Granberry within a few hours. I was seen exactly at my appointment time. Dr Granberry (and his staff) are friendly and professional.

I saw Dr. Granberry after breaking all three bones in my ankle and dislocating another one. He was patient and able to explain procedures that were necessary for me to repair this. I had surgery several days after I saw him I have been back for one follow-up visit and he has spent plenty of time with me explaining all of the procedures he did. He also answered all of my questions. The staff was extremely kind to me

The secretary was nice but pushy on having me see Dr. Grandberry ummm noooo I was referred to another doctor from the ER not this guy, and I'm so glad I did my homework and waited to see the other doctor, she was smart, spent time with me and did an excellent job on surgery for ankle. Wow I saved myself a bunch of headaches.

Do not see this butcher!! Let me give you a little background: In 1982, I had hammertoes corrected on my right foot by a good podiatrist in NY. He filed down or shortening the toes down a bit. This was a successful surgery, the hammertoes were corrected and I have not had any problems on my right foot since. 30 years later, my Left foot toes began to hammer and a huge painful corn on my left pinky toe developed. I went to see Granberry to see if he could do THE SAME THING that I had done years ago. He said, yeah sure weâ??ll take care of it, so I had surgery done and initially the toes looked OK. A year later, I have constant pain and the corn on my pinky is worse. When I went back to him and got xrays done, I discovered that this butcher put huge screws in all 4 toes on the inside of the toe bones to straighten them out. There was no mention of screws in the initial presurgery consult, in fact I do remember him saying that he was going to put in a â??wireâ??, but he did not fully… explain to me that what he was actually doing was fusing the toes, which was unnecessary in the opinion of two other doctors I have seen since. Now, walking is a nightmare, I cannot wear normal shoes, only open-toe flip flops or soft slippers, and I cannot bend my toes at all. Even while sleeping I have pain and cannot put a heavy blanket on my left foot and wake up with cramps in my calf. When I walk, I have to favor my left foot and now the pain has radiated to the metatarsal area and a dull pain has developed in my left shin because my gait has changed from the pain. After getting several second opinions, I found that he should have used Kpins instead of screws. In fact, both other docs I saw for second opinion post-surgery consults regarding this said that this method of straightening hammertoes was EXCESSIVE. I can actually feel the screw in my pinky toe pushing up against the inside of my pinky toe, apparently the screw was misaligned when put in. I want these screws removed! I do not understand why 35 years ago, a doctor fixed my hammertoes properly and today when I asked specifically if he could do the same thing, he could not or would not do it. I need to get these screws removed (and perhaps deal with another year of post-surgery pain while healing from it, but I do not trust this guy to fix the problem that he created. My opinion of this doctor is to STAY AWAY!!

Dr Granberry seemed uninterested in my son's injury. He diagnosed a stress fracture and said he would prescribe a walking boot. He forgot to submit the prescription for the boot. I had to wait several days to get the prescription and when I received it , it was for a place that was out of business. It took 3 weeks to finally get fitted for the boot.

I have to agree with some of the negative comments regarding wait time and the lack of bedside manner/sympathy of Dr. Granberry, but I will forever be in debt to him, I originally was referred to him with a broken ankle, but unfortunately he had just left for vacation and was going to be 3 weeks before I could get appointment then at least another week for surgery. Not going to happen, so I went to another surgeon. Surgery was ok, but subsequent infection, spread to hardware then osteomyelitis - very bad. I went to five different surgeons, one wanted to cut out 4-6 inches of my tibia, fuse my ankle and do external fixation. The others never gave me a definitive answer, one suggested I quit taking the IV antibiotics! Gee wonder what will happen? Finally went back to Granberry, he said yes looks bad and messy but should be able to clean it up. Well, its been over 2 years and I am infection free, have some ligament damage from the infection but most use of my ankle. If you dont… need a bunch of hand holding this guy is the best!

I neglected to read the reviews for this doctor prior to my appointment, and this is an oversight that I am gravely regretting. As others have mentioned, the wait time is unacceptable, and I have waited between one and two hours to be seen. The staff is kind and the office is clean (although not as updated or patient friendly as others), but the doctor himself is dismissive and rude. He walked out of the room while I was in the process of addressing follow-up questions to him on one occasion, and has never spent more than five minutes addressing my concerns (a marvel considering the wait time). His responses are unclear and he fails to deliver specific, focused information to patients during visits. I was referred here by a local emergency room and will be contacting them to let them know that they ought to reconsider recommending Dr. Granberry to their patients.
