Dr. William Adolf Haas, MD

During a telehealth visit, I explained my symptoms and Dr. Haas repeatedly denied them. He said that because I didn't have a medical history of this condition, he didn't think there were any issues and he won't state that I have any problem. Doesn't seem to be a capable doctor in my opinion. He did not ask about my current medical history, updated medications, or visits with other specialists. He was definitely rude, condescending and had a negative attitude during the entire interaction. Dr. Haas failed to exhibit any empathy, or compassion and was such a disappointment. We're in a middle of a pandemic, it is essential for doctors to train and practice well. It's sad to see physicians, who have society's trust, fail their patients as Dr. Haas did to me. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I have been seeing this Dr. for 3 years. Knowledgable,and has helped me a lot. Lately not as detail focused. As for his staff...caring and professionalism is truly lacking.It never has improved. To them you are a number. Sad.

Dr. Haas is more than just a physician. He remembers you and really cares about how we are doing. He always takes the time to see how you are really doing and makes suggestions to improve your health. I have recommended him to a number of my friends and they are so impressed, they have done the same.

I was diagnosed with "arthritis" in my neck because of headaches. Arthritis does not appear overnight and come-and-go. Second, my elderly mother was being treated for thyroid disease and had corresponding blood work regularly. HOWEVER, he never even glanced at it because when I got a hold of her records I discovered that her thyroid levels were through the roof for years and her meds were NEVER changed. He told us she should NOT take a certain class of allergy meds because of her age and interactions but it turns out it was the OTHER class of allergy meds that were bad for her. Don't go. Run

Dr. Haas is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything related to the visit and the results of his examination. He is highly professional and seems to keep well up on current advances in medicine.

I have always been confident in the care I have received and the advice he has given. He always makes sure that I am on board and comfortable with taking any steps to modify my lifestyle (diet exercise etc) and is very conservative in his approach to starting medications. Seems like a doctor that treats the whole person, not just a given symptom.

I've been a patient with Dr. Haas for over 4 years and I believe him to not only be exceptionally competent but conservative in his treatment options. If possible, he follows-up with test results without requiring you to revisit the office. In one instance, my cholesterol was high as well as my A1C - he recommended I either change my diet or take pills to control. I changed my diet to avoid pills and their side effects, and everything is normal now. I was also diagnosed with a torn meniscus by my orthopedic doctor who recommended surgery. I planned on having surgery and went to Dr. Haas for the green light for surgery approval, which he provided. He also provided information about studies on the surgery that allowed me to have an open mind about its long term effects versus those patients that didn't have surgery - this is something that my orthopedic doctor should have provided. After reading the information, I opted not to have surgery , something I am very grateful to Dr.… Haas for providing and I'm doing just fine. Just recently, another thorough study of this operation reinforced the information that Dr. Haas provided. I will try and stay with Dr. Haas wherever he may transfer to within the Tampa Bay area.

It is rare to find a doctor and an office staff that work so diligently to provide special care and concern to their patients. I absolutely trust these wonderful people who have always gone the extra mile...always with a smile.
