Dr. William Steven Hutton, MD

Dr. Huttons is always great. He wasn't taking new patients but took on my daughter because her big brother has him as his primary. We are so thankful! Dr always has great advice and listens to questions.

He is always kind and generous with the children.

being there to follow up closely after the emergency with our daughter showed not only his dedication, but his caring for his patients...not only was he there for my son 18 years ago, but he was still dedicated to his patients 12 years later for my daughter...I would recommend no other peds doctor..****

I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old and where as some kids dread going to see the doctor, my kids like Dr. Hutton and don't mind the visits. He is usually able to make them smile even though they are feeling lousy. I have been very impressed with the health care that Children's Health Center provides and have recommended Dr. Hutton to many of my close friends.

His main focus is children. He was my doctor when I was a child/teen. I had gone to him many times during my junior high/high school years. Every time I went to his office, he would ask me if I was depressed, and if I wanted to take medication for it. He tried pushing pills on me all the time. It felt like he'd rather throw a pill at the problem, then get down to the "real" issue. When I went in to see if there was a way he could help me lose weight, he prescribed phentermine - Mind you, I'm in 10th grade at the time. I lost weight with it, but I also lost a lot of muscle mass. I went from being able to lift 125 lbs in the weight room to barely being able to lift 50 lbs. Now that I'm 25 yrs old I think to myself, "Why on earth would you put a child on phentermine?" Especially because I wasn't incredibly overweight at the time. Scary. Just be careful if your children are under his care.
