Dr. William Torrance Jones, MD

This doctor has prescribed one of my family members so many benzo and pain pills. This is awful for a doctor to do for a perfectly healthy person. The patient has has 3 dui offenses dui to driving under the influence.

I hoped to be a new patient, but when I Googled Dr. Jones, it said he's "permanently closed", and the phone # has been disconnected.

I think it is sad and childish how some people will go to a website and post untrue statements. I too have been seeing Dr. J for nearly 30 yrs. Jaime was great, but to call her a thief is uncalled for and ridiculus, even illegal. I also remember his most recently terminated "nurse", Kelly. My neighbor was over her court ordered drug rehab program. From all the gabbing she did mental illness was obvious or maybe it was drugs talking. As far as her drawing my blood, maybe she'd get it by the 2nd try, but only after twisting and turning the needle in my vein. I dont know if that is an IV drug users trick or what, but it sure was painful! Things finally seem on the up for the office. I love my visits with all his current staff. It's sad only the bad "opinions" are posted by those with nothing better to do than play online. I hope people reading this can distinguish. Ramblings of ill minded people and just stop by and see for yourself. Remember" God doesn't like ugly" so dont pit things on… the internet that may get you in a lawsuit. There is a current case of a plastic surgeons lawsuit on a website like this. Seems someone was makimg untrue derrogatory statements and he hired an attorney and had the IP traces. Food for thougt, maybe you would be interested in googling that case since you are pathetic and ignorant enough not to know you should not SLANDEROTHERS. My statements are true and visible by freedom of information act.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO TERRY (DOCTOR JONES) FOR 22 YEARS AND HAVE SEEN A TURN OVER OF STAFFING IN HIS OFFICE SOME FOR THE BETTER AND SOME FOR THE WORST. JAMIE WAS A NURSE THERE FOR A WHILE AND AT TIMES I COULD SMELL ALCOHOL ON HER BREATH AND SHE WOULD BRAG ABOUT HER NIGHT OF BOOZING AND SHE DIDN'T LOOK VERY CLEAN OR TAKE ANY PRIDE IN HER APPEARANCE AND I HAD CONCERNS ABOUT HER TAKING MY BLOOD AND GIVING ME SHOTS BUT SHE DID'NT HURT ME WHEN SHE DID DO MY BLOOD WORK. WHEN SHE WAS TERMINATED FOR STEALING FROM DOCTOR JONES'S OFFICE SHE WAS REPLACED WITH A VERY PROFESSIONAL CLEAN, CHEERFUL, PLEASANT NURSE THAT WAS VERY GOOD AND TOOK PRIDE IN HER JOB AND I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HAVING MY BLOOD DRAWN ONE STICK WAS ALL IT TOOK. NOW IT IS A NIGHTMARE AGAIN HE HAS A NURSE THAT OPENS THE DOOR AFTER A LONG WAIT CALLS MY NAME AND STANDS WITH HER BACK TO ME AND SLAMS THE DOOR AND MAKES NO EFFORT TO BE KIND, PLEASANT OR ANSWER ANY QUESTION OR CONCERNS I HAVE. I WATCH HER TREAT MANY PATIENTS THE… SAME WAY AS I SET AND WAIT AND TOO LONG OF A WAIT IN FACT. WORST THAN THAT IS THE LAB WORK I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANYONE DRAWING MY BLOOD I HAVE GOOD VEINS BUT SHE STICKS ME WAY TOO MANY TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS. AFTER A LONG WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM I HEAR MANY PATIENTS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WAIT AND THE WAY SHE TREATS THEM WITH NO MERCY AND NO KIND WORDS NOT EVEN A SMILE. THIS NURSE SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS POSITION. THE WAIT IS LONG, PROBLEM WITH MY BILLS BUT WAS CORRECTED AFTER A MONTH. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT IN A COUPLE WEEKS AND I WILL REFUSE TO HAVE HER STICK ME EVER AGAIN.

I AM ACTUALLY CHANGING DOCTORS. I HAVE SEEN TERRY FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM. THE STAFF IS MY PROBLEM, NOT ALL THE STAFF, JUST ONE OF THEM I WAS LITERALLY CURSED OUT BY AN OLD REDNECK WOMAN HE HAS UP FRONT. SHE IS THE RUDEST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AT A DOCTOR'S OFFICE. I AM JUST APPAULED THAT HE EVEN EMPLOYEES SUCH, UNTIL I HEARD SHE IS HIS IN LAW. AFTER THAT NEWS, I REALIZE THAT SHE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE, SO I AM. I DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THAT IGNORANT WITH MY MEDICAL DOCUMENTS, I AM NOT SURE I WOULD SUGGEST HIS OFFICE TO ANYONE,BASED ON THE "FAMILY" WITH NO MEDICAL KNOWLEDE EMLOYEED THERE. I WISH I COULD STILL SEE DR. JONES, BUT I AM NOT BRINGING MY GRANDCHILDREN AROUND SUCH FOUL MOUTHED PEOPLE!!

I have been a patient of Dr.Jones for over 30 years now and I have seen many staff come and go but the girls he has now are the sweetest, most helpful by far. I enjoy the pleasant smiles of the girls and kind bedside hunting chatter Dr. Jones provides. Seems like only negative people comment on here so I want everyone to know I love my doctor and his staff and will never see another physician. Everyone should come see Dr.Jones!!

I too saw Dr. Jones for several years, and the quality of his staff has slipped considerably. I can no longer have a competent staff member draw my blood (they'll TRY, but fail), nor can I have them arrange with their 'billing people' (whoever they are) to file with the right insurance company, nor can I be truly heard by the physician.

dr jones has been my dr for over 15 years , he is a excelent dr and a great human being. id recommend him to anyone !

Dr. Jones has been my PCP for years and I just LOVE him and his staff. I have even seen his NP Valerie and she's great too. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new doctor! The staff is always polite and helpful.

The usual wait is approx. 1.5 - 2 hours for me. I am in the process of finding a new primarycare doctor. This doctor spends very little time with me (most of the time less than 5 minutes), and will not listen to me about what the various problems I am experiancing with body/health, on the few times I think he did actually listen he responded with a smart-a** reply to me. His office staff is a night-mare, they have messed up my account/billing more than once. They have also lost or mis-placed faxes, lab work from other doctors that they refered me to. The nurse he has on staff currently is rude and seems to go out of her way to make things worse for me, she is very un-professonial.
