Dr. William John Littman, MD

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!! I selected him based off his reviews. I sat for 45 minutes past my appointment time even though I was the only one there. I came in there with a strong family history for Thyroid disorders developing in the late 20's/early 30's. Which he would have know had he bothered to read my paperwork I filled out. I asked for lab work for my Thyroid to be tested and he argued with me on how I'm young to have a thyroid issue. Tried to tell me I was depressed and wrote me a prescription for an antidepressant and a sleep aid even though i told him i didnt want them. I eat a healthy whole food diet and I'm very active but I have gained 20lbs in the past 3 months. He stopped listening after a while. He seemed very condescending and refused to hear me. I had to argue with him that I was NOT depressed until he agreed to run a Thyroid test, he refused to test everything that is needed saying 'that's sunday morning talk show stuff. It wont show more than a TSH will'… which is simply untrue. My blood work came back the next day and I had to call multiple times over a couple days before anyone would even tell me the results. When they finally told me all I got was 'everything is normal' and the nurse hung up. I got a copy of my blood work and it shows I am literally ON THE BORDER to being out of range for all of my thyroid test. Less than .1 difference and I am out of 'normal' range. They never mentioned that nor do they seem inclined to help me treat whatever is going on. I will find another doctor who respects and listens to his patients.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Littmann for some 2 years now. Very good and qualified physician. I am not a phyusician but a 34 year experienced EMT/Paramedic.
