Dr. Pasley is the worst provider I've come in contact with! He had horrific bedside manor and after surgery refused to recheck important lab work. I left Lewis Gale after he refused to treat my complaints of bladder symptoms and cardiac symptoms (after my surgery) and headed directly to RMH where they confirmed my potassium was low and I had a bladder infection, they treated me for both and were shocked I was discharged in this state. WARNING- he has other pending malpractice complaints and has been disciplined by the board of medicine in the past for removing someone's kidney by mistake! PICK ANOTHER SURGEON!

I had to have emergency surgery and did not choose this surgeon. However my follow up care has been horrific, I've learned he has pending malpractice cases and disciplinary action against him including removing someone's kidney by mistake! Before being discharged I told him I wasn't feeling well and would like him to recheck my labs and that I couldn't empty my bladder. He refused to do any additional tests and I received no care... I ended up leaving Lewis Gale and headed directly to Roanoke Memorial's ER to receive additional treatment. The things I asked him to recheck were abnormal and I was treated for low potassium as well as a bladder infection- both of which he chose to ignore! FIND ANOTHER SURGEON!

Takes time to explain purposed surgery, things that may occur, and when the surgery is over, goes over any issues that may occur due to your surgery. Would recommend him highly.
