Dr. William Russell, MD

Well I meet Dr. Russell in a interview when I was applying for my disability. I thought he was a very intelligent man and very polite and I really enjoyed our conversation. Actually I felt he was a great doctor we discussed my health problems and he didn't agree with what my doctors were putting me through and I did think about going to Dr. Russell. But for several years I had always heard from friends of friends that went to Dr. Russell and they were getting Sub Strips and other meds that they were selling them to buy crack and heroin and laughing that Dr. Russell wouldn't do urine test on them because it is $25 extra and he knew they couldn't afford it. The other pills they sold they were driving around in a nicer car than me. I just don't get it. I don't think that its Dr. Russell's fault because these patience probably get him to trust them and make him believe there unable to pay extra money. I don't know but something needs to be done. One person actually said to me I… have to make a living that's why I sell my prescriptions'. Well what about the people out there that need a doctor but cant get in because of patients like this taking up the doctors time to get there meds not because they need them, there ready to sell them because there needing there street drugs that there addicted too. I would just hate to see Dr. Russell get in trouble because of these people he is a very intelligent man and I really enjoyed talking to him. But these people that I have heard and seen doing and selling this stuff shouldn't be allowed to be seen. Good Luck Dr. Russell I think its time to start your weed eater and get rid of the dead weeds!!!!

Dr.russell is a great doctor. Spends time with you and tries to help you. Very intelligent and professional. You couldn't ask for a better doctor. You can tell he cares about his patients so far he's the best doctor I've been to yet .keep up the good work doc..

I arrived for my appointment for a disability IME at the time I was told to complete paperwork. I was informed by the secretary that they had lefta mmessage for me that I didn't need to be there until the actual appointment time of a half hour later, although I had no such message. There was only one other patient there. While sitting waiting my turn, I noticed the handicap accessible bathroom had a file cabinet, a stand and a chair blocking wheelchair access. Did you note the file cabinet..... In the waiting room?? The most disturbing part of this visit came after dressing in my gown and the doctor entering for examination without a nurse present. The only people in the entire office was a secretary, the doctor, myself, and my spouse in the waiting room. How is it allowed or legal for a male physician to be able to treat a person in their underwear without a nurse in the room also? Highly unprofessional!! This has been turned into the disability determination office and will also be… turned into the Board of Physicians. If you have an option, do not choose this office!

Dr. Russell was a excellent doctor. He was very encouraging/helping with my addiction. I feel without doc russ I wouldn't be sober and the best I've felt my entire life. I would recommend him to anyone who really wants soberity. But I will say if your just going to go to him to try to get drugs and then go sell them...well then he's just not a doc for you. He will catch you and call u in on pill counts if you think your going to dupe him. But, if you really need help and your not that type of person then he's the perfect doctor.

Dr Russell is terrific. Follow his rules and you will get better! I did!!!

Dr Russell is a joke. On my very first visit with him all he did was talk about other patients and their business with me. He literally pulled out their files and showed me things about others that was ridiculous. Missy, the secretary, was the rudest secretary that i have ever dealt with. I was told to call in 3 days in advance to have my meds called in. When i did that i was accused of not taking my meds right eventhough he did a pill count everytime i seen him. He called me on friday, left a message for me to call back, of course when i did they were closed, Monday when i called back i was kicked off the program for not getting in touch with him over the weekend. I left several messages and apparently his secretary didnt give him that info. This DR is a joke and should not even have a license.
