Dr. Sim is probably the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I’ve had, and I’ve been through a few PCPs. He shows genuine concern and has great bedside manner. I would trust him with my health and even my life.

My dad was a patient of Dr. Sims. Due to muscle weekness caused from being on statin meds for too many years, my dad was put into a nursing home because he could no longer swallow and needed to have a feeding tube. During his 3rd week there my dad became disoriented to the point he couldn't even talk anymore. He was also breathing too fast. I called Dr. Sim's office 5 times in four days that week regarding my dad's condition. Dr. Sim told the nurse at the nursing home to tell me that my dad was fine and that it only looked like he was breathing too fast because my dad was so skinny. Dr. Sim never came to see my dad in the nursing home even after all my complaints. On the 5th day of that week my dad was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with sepsis and died from it two days later. Dr. Sim never went to see my dad while he was in the hospital's ICU, either. My dad's death certificate was filled-out by the ICU doctor and it states that my dad died from sepsis. Dr. Sim, due to… not wanting to be held negligent for my dad's death, told other family members that my dad died from a heart attack! No doubt my dad's heart stopped as the sepsis took over all the organs in his body!

At first I thought Dr. Sim to be a great doctor, until my last visit when I was voicing my concern to him and he decided to bolt out of the room, telling me that hes too busy, and that he answers one concern a day for each patient, "lets talk next time". What?!?! I could have a serious condition and you go off being unprofessional like that? Shows how much he cares for his patients and their health!!!

Dr. Sim is a very competent and compassionate doctor. I visited several doctors before narrowing my decision to Dr. Sim. I've finally found a doctor that I can trust. He takes the time to explain everything and is very thorough.
