Dr. William Bryan Simpson JR., MD

After reading many fantastic reviews, I decided to be become a patient of Dr. Simpson’s. It was a great choice! Dr. Simpson is a consummate professional who provided outstanding care during my pregnancy and delivery. He is friendly, trustworthy, accurate in his diagnosis, and is a premier surgeon. He and his team handled my premature delivery with the utmost ability. He will be my OBGYN from now on!

There aren’t enough positive adjectives to properly describe how much we appreciate Dr Simpson and his staff all the way from the initial greeting to check out. Our daughter has congenital heart issues which could have been a disaster with pregnancy. I chose Dr Simpson after doing much research as we needed a doctor that could handle high risk pregnancy. He made sure she was followed thoroughly and always made us feel comfortable through an uncomfortable experience. There needs to be more doctors like him.

Dr. Simpson delivered my first child in May of 1988. He was amazing!!! He truly cares about his patients. With medical complications, I was in the hospital several times prior to having my baby. His bedside manner is the best. He always made me feel that he had time for me with any concerns or just a pep talk. The day he delivered my baby, he and his family were scheduled a trip out of town. He stayed with me until my baby was delivered. Later during the night one of the hospital nurses came in the room and told me that Dr. Simpson had called several times to check on me and my baby after he left for his vacation. That is the kind of Dr. you have with Dr. Simpson. He goes above and beyond to show he truly cares. I had my 2nd child in 1990 with much less complications, but again Dr. Simpson was truly the best again. Each time I go for my annual he continues to be the best!!!! He is always assuring and never makes you feel rushed as some of my others doctors do. Though he is a very… busy Dr. he makes time to answer any questions and explain everything as he always has. Thank you Dr. Simpson for always being the BEST. His staff is always wonderful as well. Sandy has been with him for a long time and is wonderful. If looking for a OBGYN in the Columbus area then you cannot go wrong with Dr. Simpson and his staff.

I've been a patient of Dr Simpson for 10 years. He delivered my two children both by csection. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is direct and to the point, no fluff. I would highly recommend him.

Great Doctor, good manners, ALOT of knowledge. The ladies that do your vitals and the other lady that helps the dr. is good. But there is one or I might say some of them that you can feel they racism. I know the look of a racist person. When I went to give birth, there was no where to find my records at the hospital. Maybe because I start seen him on my half term, but I don't think there is a excuse on that. I felt constantly uncomfortable been around them. I use to go to my appointments and get a cold shoulder from them . They maybe good people but not with other than whites or maybe blacks who knows. I very disappointed because I really like Dr. Simpson, I would love to see him again but I really don't want to go thru the same thing again with his staff.

I can't think of a better man to have brought my son into the world. I switch OB/GYN's 16 weeks into my 1st pregnancy. He is a stoic man of not too many words. But, once you get to know him, his compassion and amazing bedside manner shines. I'm not a girl who likes a "fluffy" doctor who will pat me on the head and agree with everything and tell me that all things are perfect. He is honest, knowledgeable, candid and incredibly intelligent. The negative review on this site might be true. But, it must have been an off day for Dr. Simpson or the reviewer. From being a patient of his, I learned what quality healthcare finally looks like. PS: his staff is also just as amazing!
