Dr. William H Sweatt, MD

I came here for pcp but was told to cut back on thyroid med..then I went for a check up at md Anderson and my thyroid out of whack when I told them that I had been told to cut back they asked me to please find another doctor down here. Wish my dad wouldnt come here as he is never on time and are not told ahead of time

Staff was extremely unprofessional and made me feel really uncomfortable. I attempted to schedule a procedure at the time they were switching to the new office and their excuse for not returning my calls or having the knowledge to answer simple questions was because they were very busy and had been at the office until 7:30. I waited three days to not have any of my questions answered , was on hold for 20 minutes a couple times only to be transferred back and forth , the person who scheduled my appointment wasn't listening to me and scheduled something completely different and on a different day. However, after I explained what was happening to me to the office manager, she was very sweet and helpful. After the incident , the people who were rude or who messed up my appointment called me back to talk things over and tried telling me that it must have been someone else talking to me, not them and saying that they had told me one thing when they didn't. This was only to clear their names.… but I had decided to switch to another doctor because I would have never felt comfortable ever going back to Dr. Sweatts.

Dr. Sweatt and his staff are very professional. He diagnosed my problem and I am feeling much better. I was able to get an appointment immediately when I told the receptionist I was in pain. I did have to wait 45 minutes to be seen but that is not long compared to some doctors I see.

husband's appt. time 3:15 PM, and at 5:15 PM we are still sitting in waiting room see Dr. pitiful!

I went here as a new patient, and decided to save some time to go in a day ahead and pick up the paperwork and fill it out at home, while picking up the paperwork, I noticed that the waiting room was packed. So, the day of my appointment I go in at 10:45 (my appt was at 11), turn in my filled out paperwork, there were 3 people waiting already. Two more people come in after me (both with 11:00 appts as well) . An hour later, both of the people that came in after me got called in while I'm still sitting there. I finally went up to the receptionist at 12:30 and told her that I had to be gone by 1:00, she informed me that there were still 2 patients ahead of me and it would be at least another 30 minutes before I got called back and wanted me to reschedule...Ummm, to waste another afternoon sitting in your waiting room? No thanks. The doctor may be great, I honestly couldn't tell you because I have no desire to sit in the waiting room for another day of waiting to find out.

I'm so thankful for Dr.sweatt n all he's done for me its cuz of hI'm I now know why I'm sick n now I'm getting the help I need he answers all my ?s n so on n his staff r awesome too thankyou to everyone in his office oh n his pa she's just as awesome as he is

Dr. Sweatt is the most caring physician I have ever dealt with. He follows through having his nurse call to check on you a day or two after every procedure, never stops looking for clues to diagnose cases. His nurses and office staff are caring, polite, and professional.
