Dr. William Frederick Von Bargen JR., DO

Dr. Von Bargen was a really nice guy. I needed my annual physical (which I get every five years) and he was very nice, efficient and I was out of his office in 30 minutes. Great experience.

The Best Family Doctor ever..I would have kept him for Generations!!

This man if I can call him that is the most rude non-caring insulting doctor I have ever had the displeasure to meet. First of he came into the exam room with no introduction, the first words were in a rude tone what do you mean by med check? That's something our doctor would do to see how meds are working and to refill as needed. When I told him my only two meds that I take Tramadol and naproxen he told me I was a drug addict and needed to go to a pain clinic! I was appalled by his accusation! I am a 60 something woman that takes care of 4 physically challenged adults and an autistic grandchild. I am diagnosed with spinal and vascular problems and only take those two meds and I am a " Drug Addict"! I was crying and shaking when I left his office. What a fraud!

I have to agree with the other patient - we also waited for about 15 minutes while doctor and nurse chatted and played on phone. He does just walk in without knocking and no real greeting either - just stares at the laptop. Sends my husband to a specialist for everything. Dr. Von Bargen has never treated my husband for anything - just refers him elsewhere and seems nonchalant about whatever brings us to the office. If you have an urgernt situation and need to see the doc right away you are out of luck. When you call all you get is automated service that requires you to leave a message and calls are NOT promptly returned.

William Von Bargen is the farthest from a doctor as possible. While being the only person in the office at the time of my appointment, I still waited over 20 minutes while he and the nurse talked and he played on his phone. Then when I was finally brought back, the nurse checked vitals and said he would be right in, 10 minutes later he came in, no knock on the door, no hello nothing. Proceeded to stare at the computer and ask me several times why I was there. I stated "for a full physical" he proceeded to look at the computer, then checked my ears, had me open my mouth and checked with his stephascope, over my shirt, checked my lungs on my back. He then stated, well you seam well. I have an issue that my prior doctor was watching and Von Bargen said, "I need to send you to a specialist" That is what he called a Full Physical. He did not have me take my shoes off, shirt off, nothing. He did not check reflexes nothing. Horrible representation of a doctor. Stay far far away.
