Dr. William Charles Watson, MD

Dr. Watson placed three meshes in me, across two surgeries about 10 to 15 years ago. All of the meshes failed in one way or the other, put in the wrong place, not attached properly, shifted out of position... I have now had all of the meshes removed and replaced at great expense to myself, by a real expert: Dr. Shirin Towfigh. Dr. Watson is a quack, do not trust him with your body

Two years ago, I was turned down for donating blood due to low iron level. My doctor ordered a colonoscopy after finding a trace of blood in my stool. This colonoscopy showed a mass of polyps at one corner of my colon. I then went to see Dr. Watson. Dr. Watson quickly convinced me of the need for having about 40% of my colon removed. This was done a few weeks later, in March, 2010. Because it was laparascopic surgery, I was in the hospital for only 3 days. I wanted to go back to work as an accountant immediately, but was told by my employer to rest. Instead, I resumed remodeling my condo. Everything Dr. Watson said would occur did happen, such as my shortened colon adapting over time.

Dr. Watson was wonderful before, during and after my colon cancer surgery. I would recommend him to anybody. It has been 9 months and I have never felt better and I am 86 years old.

Not a good experience. His professionalism is poor. Very young in practice. Lacks the ability be able to think quickly in re surgery. Was very happy to take on our case, however too excited to think clearly. Doesn't know when to say, "You should see someone more experinced" when he is in over his head.
