Dr. William Young, MD

Dr. Young cares so much about his patients more so than any doctor I've met. For those who say hes rude, I question whether we are talking about the same doctor. He answered all of my questions, didn't want to prescribe anything that wasn't necessary and exhausted all options. I would send anyone I care about to him. While other doctors just want to cut you open to get a check. Dr. Young actually keeps in mind the hardship that medical bills can be.

This man has to be the worst Dr I have ever been to in my life. He enters the room like you are a burden to start with. I went in with a previous fusion of my neck from 6 yrs ago with pain, dizziness and numbness of arms. This man literally put his hand on top of my head and jerked my head side to side and back. He moved my head so rough my neck popped 3 times and I peed in my pants a little from the pain. He told me that I would need surgery to fix my problem, but would have to go to physical therapy and pain management since he wasn't sure what type of medication would go with the current meds I am taking for seizures. Then proceeded to tell me that after surgery he would be willing to prescribe pain meds to me to control pain. He also stated that I could go back to work with dizziness and pain that I would have to work through it. I don't have a desk job and what I do is very physical, he didn't seem to care. He would ask me specific questions and then cut me off while I was trying… to answer them. This man absolutely has no compassion or bedside manners towards his patients. I wouldn't let him touch me with a 10 foot pole.

Great treatment, diagnosis and surgery!

I had DBS surgery from Dr. Young. Every aspect from initial consultation, through surgery, to follow up was administered with the highest standards. I would highly recommend him for Neurosurgery.

I was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor and as shocking as it was, Doctor Young was able to ease me and my family minds as what we would be expecting with upcoming surgery. Doctor Young is a terrific Surgeon who has given me my life back.. He will always be in my heart and prayers .. And I can never forget his Nurse Anne who is super fantastic and has made recovery easy for me.. I love her great sense of humor...I highly recommend him should you ever need a GREAT surgeon !!!!

.. very pasient with any questions I had. I just got a fusion yesterday and he did great. I was really nervous and he help me feel a litle at ease, and other doctors I talked to told me he was one of the very best for these procedures. I had a halo on a few months ago and when I got it off it wasn't really to pleasant of an experience. . Unfortunately I had to get the halo again yesterday to make sure the fusion is more stabilized and is supported better.. what I appreciated the most is that he is allowing me to be sadated when I get the halo off the second time around. I wouldn't have wanted any other doctor. I highly recommended him

Dr. Young saved my father, did a amazing job in surgery. Bedside manner could use alot of improvement however, very cold & standoffish.
