Dr. Woodrow Wilson Reeves JR., MD

I WAS a patient of Dr. Reeves for a Hydrocele. I saw him and was told I shouldn't do surgery it was expensive and painful. I went to see about surgery, but he talked me out of it. Now I am in so much pain and discomfort I can not sleep at night. I called to make an appointment and was told since I no longer have insurance he will not see me. I have money I can pay, but they don't care. Guess he enjoys milking insurance for extra high amounts. I found a Dr. that will see me, and asked them to send a referral and my records to the new Dr. They did send my records but stated they will not send a referral out. I have to get my regular Dr. to do so. I asked why and was told they aren't referring their patients away from their office. Well they won't see me and won't assist in finding a Dr. that will. So now I am in constant pain and miserable and no help from a Dr. He needs to retire he does't care about patients anymore, just cares about money.

My dad was a patient of Dr. Reeves for years. He did several surgeries and took good care of him. My husband also WAS a patient of Dr. Reeves. He had treated him several times and had performed surgery once for him and done a good job. HOWEVER, last year my husband missed a scheduled appointment with Dr. Reeves due to his job. He works in Emergency Medical Services and if he is called into work and caring for a patient, he cannot always call somewhere when he needs to, therefore, he missed this appointment. Later, when he called back to schedule an appointment, the lady at Reeve's office stated that Dr. Reeves had dropped my husband as a patient. When ask why she said "because he missed an appointment". We were very surprised. After explaining to her that he was a long time patient and that all his records were there, she informed us she would sent the records out to wherever and would not make the appointment. We feel this was totally unfair! I'm sure the good doctors job has… caused him to miss appointments as well. Thank you.

I was referred to Dr. Reeves to get advice on treatment for a kidney stone I have tolerated for 9 long weeks now. After paying for an office visit and making a 50 minute drive to his office, I left with absloutely no answers other than him sending me back to my referring Dr. I personally would not recommend this urologist to anyone.

This doctor is rude. Bedside manners are horrendous.During a hospital consult he stated he had no time for stupid questions when asked why the condition wa occurring.

I have been a patient since 2005 and have not had a disapointing visit. Dr. Reeves is well trained in his profession and along with that, he doesen't make you feel uneasy during the exam. He is easy to understand and might i mention, he is pleasant to look at. His office staff is enjoyabe to be around also. There was a time when I needed to defer a payment for a few days and he and his coordinates allowed me to do that. Give his office a try and I'm sure you will feel the same.

Dr. Reeves is in my case and experience a very competent physician. He operated for a kidney stone and his knowledge and skills were obvious. Immediately following the operation he was candid in stating an inability for find the stone and about medical condition.Subsequently, our conversations have been unhurried and his explanations are complete.

Dr. Reeves attempted to perform lithotripsy to remove a kidney stone. His judgment was reflective of his knowledge and experience and in my opinion excellent. My only comment is that his colleague Dr. Ick who substituted for Dr. Reeves was of almost no assistance in that he did not answer my questions and in almost all cases deferred to Dr. Reeves. Dr. Reeves was out of office for my return visit after surgery.
