Dr. Xujun Wu

SURGERY ASSIGNED WITHOUT PATIENT FOREKNOWLEDGE!! PATIENT WAS NOT INFORMED. Patient called with medication questions. Patient contacted office numerous times for follow up after endo/colonoscopy. Responses were far from timely, and support staff were disorganised and lacking pertinent information, with poor communication between them. Recorded Dr Wu's comments and advice following aforementioned procedure at which time he made NO indication of the severity of issue. He spoke for just over a minute, leaving with a dismissive, "okay, bye-bye now". If you have money, perhaps you might be treated with more respect and decency. If you are receiving Medicaid, however, this proves to be a never-ending cycle. Staff must be reminded of information they should already have present and available, including patient allergies, interactions, symptoms, times and dates of occurrences, and procedures and CURRENT MEDICATIONS PRESCRIBED BY DR WU. It appears that the patient does not come first at… all. If Wu does not know what to do, he passes the buck to his under-informed staff, at which time his solution is a equivocal to placing a band-aid over a compound fracture, he himself not being accessible to the patient for direct communication at all. The ETHICAL thing to do would be to INFORM and COMMUNICATE with, HELP the patient, even if that means referring them to a specialist outside of the insurance hub. PEOPLE should come BEFORE profits; it is the healthCARE industry. Care first, industry second. Apparently they don't care whose blood is on their hands, as long as there's a greasy dollar in each fist at the end of the day. Currently seeking legal council.

If you can get in too see Dr Wu he's a great Dr, but getting a hold of him is like trying to find a needle in a haystack! They won't return your calls and some of the nurses are rude along with his np G. Barone she has called me a liar to my face many times. And I have proven her wrong, I refuse to see her! I do understand they are busy but so am I.

Even though I was really afraid of the endoscopy process, he made me more at ease than any other doctor I have gone to. He diagnosed my problem quickly, after going to others for over a year. He is very kind and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to others!
