DR HARATI AND HIS STAFF ARE OUTSTANDING ANSWERED ALL MT QUESTIONS

My husband is part of his ALS Clinic. Very intelligent man and really wants to find a cure.

He correctly diagnosed my CIDP, and treated it with plasma pheresis treatments. After a period of 1 1/2 years these treatments have done so well that he was cautiously optimistic that my illness is in a state of remission. He is a fantastic doctor with a great bedside manner!

Brought my mother to see this physician. He was not a very caring doctor and made my mother and I cry. He had to options as what to do with her care. Did not provide a definite diagnosis and left my mother to deteriorate.

I received excellent care from Dr. Harati and his staff. I am blessed to have been referred to him.

We arrived and had not even sat down yet, when they called me back.He was very friendly and nice, even joked a little. I am scheduled to go back at end of month for an EMG test and maybe a muscle biopsy. Am looking forward to the appointment. A local Doctor referred me to him-a world renowned nerve Doctor.

His intern was great as were his associates. They would take the time to explain results. Dr. Harati, at times, became arrogant, condescending, belittling, and rude; and at one time, he would not answer my questions in regard to our father. This is what he told one of us on a very recent visit: Papa's doctor appointment and treatment went well yesterday. Dr. Harati is frustrated with all of the phone call to his office from this family, his words, not mine and his said to be sure to tell my family that and that they need to stop. He stated that the only thing going on with Papa's myastenia is some muscle weakness in his face and twitching which is why his going back to giving him treatments every two weeks for the next three months. In addition to that he stated that the reason he will not put him on any other myyastenia medications now or in the future is because the will irritate is Alz. and the risks will outweigh the benefits, basically it would cause him to need around the clock… care, again his words not mine. The spitting up and mucus he said is sinus related and we need to see his GP and stop calling his office. He stated this problem was not related to the myastenia but sinus issues that needed to be dealt with locally. More importantly he pointed out that we have to be realistic and understand that he has two diseases ( myastenia and Alz.) and he is elderly and he is only going to get worse, not better, and some of this is just age related and we need to deal with that situation and accept that, his words again, not mine. He was very curt and to the point yesterday. He stated that overall Papa's myastena is doing pretty well and does not understand why we are upset, therefore we can accept that or get a second opinion. His treatment went fine, he was really tired afterwards but other than that he was fine. along with this information.This doctor needs to retire or not be allowed to see patients and their families he has no value for life or those who have loved ones he treats...................

for 20 years I had to wake up with pain and uncomfort in my body as all the doctors I've been to could not properly diagnose my disease. I was reffered to doctor Harati through a very satisfied close friend. I was able to have an appointment with him and after a handful of visits, he diagnosed my disease and cured all the symptoms. NO ONE was able to figure out my condition and I'm in debt to my friend for referring me to doctor Harati. Thank you Dr. Harati!

Overall I was quite unhappy with him. I went to him several (6-8?) times before becoming disgusted with his attitude. Hes arrogant, condescending and insulting. He lets his religious beliefs interfere with his practice of medicine. Hes always trying to use you as part of his latest research project without telling you thats what hes doing. During the times I went to him I was pre-interviewed by two of his fellows/assistants/interns. As another reviewer said, they were good, but I wasnt there to be treated by assistants. Because I was leaving him I picked up my records. The errors in it were rampant. There were enough things sprinkled through them I could tell they were my records, but using them to assess me would be like assessing another person. I cant remember what his staff were like so I gave them four stars. Its hard to rate the waiting time since you spend time with the assistant and then wait some more. I guessed 30-45 minutes. I would not recommend him to anyone.
