The worse doctor i have ever experienced...this office is all about a paycheck ...no concern for patients in the very least...find a doctor that has some compassion instead of this moron

I have seen Doctor Patel for 17 years and love him to death. His insurance person however really is bad. I went to see him for my yearly check up. He did the blood work etc. and imagine my horrror when I return for my results and I am told that I owe a bill of over $300. I was told that they stopped carrying Blue Cross right out of the blue! I am covered by the school system which is the largest employer in Alabama. My insurance says the problem is on the Doctors end and no one there seems to care. Now, after 17 years and being 65 years old, I must now find another doctor. Really sad.

I love my visits with Dr Patel, he is a one of a kind Dr. I am stubborn and he does not pressure me to take something I don't won't to take, he always has a smile when he walks in to my room, I wouldn't even think about seeing another doctor. The is the one and only one for me!

I have seen him for over 10 years. I left Horizons to follow him. Provides expert and thorough care. Has always taken care of my medical needs and has referred me to the necessary specialists or admitted me when needed.

I love this doctor. This is the 1st doctor that I have had that 9 times out of 10 I can get a same day appt if really needed.

The thing that most impressed with was his ending of every visit. No matter how long you'd been talking, or how many things we had discussed, he always said, "what else?" He was one who was prudent to refer patients when needed, but did not rush to write prescriptions that were not. I will totally miss his being my doctor. I wish him well on the next step to his journey.
