Dr. Yasmina Marie Ephrem, MD

Having her as a doctor was an amazing experience. She did such a good job making us feel comfortable and welcomed. When she spoke to us, we both had separate but equally as great times talking to her which we never thought would happen. She is very knowledgable and passionate about her work as she gave us a lot of information to improve our health and answered all the questions we had. We will definitely visit her again!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Darvish and Dr Ephrem for over 11 years. They have delivered all 3 of my children. I wish I had more stars to give them. They are phenomenal. I was admitted for over a month for my high risk twin pregnancy and Dr Darvish came everyday to see me. If a complication arose he was there within 5 minutes. When my insurance tried to dispute my admission, Dr Darvish went as far as to speak to the president of my insurance company to keep me in the hospital while still being covered under insurance. I can attest it wasn’t an easy task yet he managed to make it happen. He spent time talking to me and making sure the babies were doing great. Very few doctors take the time to get to know you as a person or go the extra mile for their patients. But both Doctors are exceptional. I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to the both of them for getting me as far as they did in my pregnancy. Thank you both for the great care. I look forward for another 11 years together… under your care.

Great experience! I walked in and was politely greeted by the staff and the whole check-in process was a breeze. As soon as Dr. Ephrem walked in, I felt very comfortable with her. She is very passionate and very knowledgeable of her job and this area and I just kept asking questions and she gave me well-informed answers and made me understand what is going on in my body. I had a great experience and felt very comfortable with her.

First of I love Dr. Ephrem!! Dr. Ephrem and her husband Dr. Darvish are an excellent team. Delivered two of my daughters. My first daughter was 9lbs 15oz in 2015 and my second daughter was 10lbs and 11oz in 2019. I gave birth with no complications. Shes so caring and understanding. So thankful I found her. The staff is also amazing. I completely 100% recommend Dr. Ephrem and Dr. Darvish.

Dr ephrem and her husband are a perfect team. Delivered my 3 kids (all under 5yrs old). With personal circumstances, they were both caring and supportive with our decisions throughout the pregnancies. I loved that they were easily accessible with awesome office hours.Office visits had minimal wait time and staff were helpful. AMAZING practice and would not have it any other way!

It is very difficult to find a gyn that you can feel comfortable with and i am so luck that my primary care doc recommended dr ephrem to me. She is very friendly and understanding. She listened to my problems and concerns and found solutions. I really like her and i do recommend her to everyone out there.

I would warn any first-time moms (just finding out you're pregnant) to choose Dr. Ephrem as your OBGYN. I choose her and REGRET it. I found out I was pregnant and needed a new doctor in my area. My first appointment was fine. Second appointment, my husband and I went to hear the heartbeat. Unfortunately, during the ultrasound, the technician (NOT Dr. Ephrem) told us flatly "there's not heartbeat." Then, we had to wait in the waiting area with moms and their babies. I was crying. Finally, we went to an exam room where we waiting A LONG TIME for another doctor to come in and explain what had happened. As we left, I saw Dr. Ephrem in the office so I am not sure why SHE couldn't talk to us. She was my doctor. Follow-up appointment, I told her how we felt at our last appointment. She blamed the technician. Then, she proceeded to tell me that another of her patient's lost twins at 24 weeks. YES! She was talking to me about another patient. Was she trying to make my loss seem less important… compared to someone else's horrible loss? I chose to get a D&C since nothing was happening. The day of the procedure my husband and mother-in-law came for support. Dr. Ephrem came to my bedside and said, "Oh, look at everyone here. It's just a routine procedure." Like it was unnecessary for my loves ones to be there to support me? And maybe it was a routine procedure for her, but this was FAR from routine for me. I am still SHOCKED by the positive reviews I read about her. I have been traumatized and hurt that this was my first experience with being pregnant. This was my experience. This is my WARNING.

Kind. A great listener. Does not rush. Can finish your sentences. 11 years. 4 babies. Not much left to say. Her and her (husband) work together with every patient. Even though I would only see one on a particular visit, the other always knew about it. They are professional and courteous. I can't say enough!!!!!

Moved to the area 4 years ago. changed 3 Doctors. my primary doctor refered me to Dr Ephrem, stated she was her patietnt too. After the first visit I realized what a good doctor she is. My daughter is now seeing her. I would recommend her 100%.
