Dr. Yassamin Naghib Hazrati, MD

Dr. Hazrati is competent, compassionate and capable. She is a remarkably good surgeon performing seemingly impossible shoulder repairs with minimal trauma to tissues and overlying skin.

Yassamin Hazrati is an amazing and understanding surgeon. Her expertise is undisputed, her colleagues even praise her abilities. She spends most of her time in the operating room but is worth waiting for an appointment. She truly knows her stuff and having had more operations than I can count it’s important to say her bedside manner is amazing. Surgeon’s aren’t often known for their bedside manner but although she may be a bit stoic at the start she makes it clear she truly wants to make you feel better if at all possible. Keep in mind she is also straight forward which means she will not preform surgery if she doesn’t believe it will solve the problem which in my personal opinion I wouldn’t want it any other way!

I had a broken clavicle in which the fracture was at the tip of the bone. The initial surgeons that I first visited were perplexed and didn't have a treatment option. One referred me to consult with Dr. Hazrati who he believes was an expert with this type of fracture (shoulder. Upon seeing me she immediately diagnosed the problem and had a course of treatment = surgery. Her appointment schedule was full and the next available was in 2 weeks hence the 3 star for "getting an appt". But it was well worth the wait because the surgery was a huge success and her performance and skills were impeccable. She sutured the bone which healed without any permanent fixators. Now, my shoulder feels great and the broken clavicle seems unapparent other than the scar from the incision. Dr. Hazrati is beyond 4 stars!!!!!
