I met with Dr. Gussous for my 2nd consultation for possible surgery on my cervical spine (C5/C6). Going through all the necessary imaging (CT/X-Ray) he determined that the C7 should also be included in the surgery. He explained all the options that were available including shots and Physical Therapy I decided to opt for surgery, so glad I did. So, on October 28th, 2024, I had surgery. I can honestly say that after surgery I never, I repeat never experienced and pain. I do not know if that was because I have a fairly high level of tolerance to pain, but I believe that it was Dr. Gussous's fine surgical skills that I had no pain. He even texted me at 3:47am to see how I was doing and came by the hospital to see how I was doing I know that all the surgeons do this but with Dr. Gussous it just seemed more special. The bottom line is that if you need or are thing of having spine surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Gussous. I also want to say that his staff is the best. They treat you like… family and are very comfortable to be around and work with.

Dr. Gussous is an exceptional surgeon who corrected my spinal problem with a spinal decompression and a L4-5 fusion. He was thorough and compassionate at every step of my procedure carefully explaining his diagnosis and treatment plan. He involved me at every decision and took time to be sure I understood and was comfortable as we progressed. I have joint problems and this was my 18th surgery in the past 12 years. I got a 2nd and a 3rd opinion before proceeding with Dr. G and I am certain I made the very best choice. He is obviously well trained, extremely capable, and caring. He even used a less invasive technique than the others would have which has certainly aided in my healing. He was ALWAYS available via phone or text when I had questions or concerns, even at 3AM while hospitalized! I would highly recommend him as a strong ally and advocate for your health and wellbeing. I feel fortunate to have him as a doctor who truly cares. I would not hesitate in choosing him again.… His approach is unparalleled.

I was referred by my pain care physician to Dr Gussous, the office made appointment right away . Dr. Gussous went over my MRI and explained and would like for my spouse to be present, he went over all MRI explain what was wrong and why pain was happening. He was caring and considerate, he is compassion with his patience. I drive from San Jose to Mt view because I knew I would be in care. Is been 7 days I am not taking no pain pills I had a cervical neck surgery Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) . Dr. Gussous has followed up on my recovery everyday. My spouse is impressed and will be making his appointment.

Dr. Gussous did my back surgery 10'2016. He took extra time explaining to me and my family about the surgery. He showed utmost concern to make sure I received the best outcome which I did.
